Now it's official. Corporations need to be held responsible for bad products. They knew before they released the G2X in The States. If a consumer does something wrong, there are all sorts of late fees and penalties. There needs to be ramifications for when big corporations do bad things to little consumes. Hell yes sue LG. Shame on them. Folks paid good money for a high-end phone & were left with crap.

Sammy, 20 Jul 2011sue sue sue sue....what the hell??? this world has gone cra... morewell, imho this one is deserved. just look at the thread size on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=997705 . I had this problem for several months before changing the battery by myself as the after sales services wouldn't dare to do it, and updating to community firmwares as official ones are buggy.

And it's *really* annoying to have a phone that shuts down several times a day.

I like LG TVs, but after the Arena i don't buy LG phones anymore. The Arena was buggy as h*ll, and i see it was not an isolated case.

Considering how he could have got an iPhone for $200, he surely paid quite an opponent. Moreover, LG's lack of intent to act on the matter makes me believe they deserved to be sued.

There was a thread about this on gsmarena saying that LG will invest allot of funds in th quality department to give users the best posible experience.
Was this what they had in mind? o_O

                  The main problem was..

They are doing NOTHING to solve it....

That's the main reason of lawsuit, and this is Android fault too.

I experience that on my Motorola Droid too, also some friends are experiencing problems with their SG2, SG1 and Tablets with Android.

I don't know what's going on here but there was a lot of people claiming errors on devices, I bet are the crappy software they put on the Phones, but Android fault is that personalized apps don't runs smoothie on the OS.

Shame on that but if companies don't do nothing to fix it we will se a lot of lawsiutes around....

regs, 20 Jul 2011$250? What's wrong with people. When you buying top phon... moreIt's $250 because it's on 2-year contract I suppose. ;)

This one seems genuine though. I would join in if my $250 phone's screen started bleeding and they didn't do anything about it especially knowing that it is so widespread.

                              $250?

What's wrong with people. When you buying top phone for extremely small price - expect there is something wrong. A good, very old proverb says - the only free cheese is in the mousetrap.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2011its disturbing to see all the recent legal action is more t... moreIt's not against Android, but against an LG phone. I've had an LG GW520, its software was full of bugs and LG never did anything so I can undestand the frustration of people who bought a brand new handset and then discovered it was so buggy and LG didn't care at all. That's also the reason why I thing I wont' get another LG regardless of how good they seem on paper.
