Those are the ... moreYes, and I speak from experience. Am using a 'cheap Chinese' OnePlus alongside an iPhone 7. The iPhone is nowhere near being as good as the Oneplus.
Also, i have owned and used top end Samsung and Sony phones before.
On top of all that, I am an Indian, and should basically dislike Chinese brands, but I don't.

Galaxy S9 and S9+ are basically going t... moreYeah. tbh, i'd think I'd buy an s8+ when the S9 has releases for a beautiful price. I'm still rocking my Nexus 5 and waited for a phone to upgrade to that's worth it. Everything has been subtle or design based. Nothing that's made me say "Ok I need to upgrade now", other than the Camera that is. Majority of phone screens that have 2k aren't even on 2k and are set to 1080p for battery purposes. I don't want to buy a phone ranking up to £1,000 based on a Camera, I'd get a new SLR or lens of my SLR for that price haha.
I'm hoping this year will be interesting for phones, other competitors need to shake it up. I'm open to going for any phone if it's worth it but rn the S8+ seems like a perfect choice once the s9 has been released. I don't expect any changes from the s8 to the s9 that can warrant a roughly £300 price gap.

Razer owns nextbin thats true but they bought it after nextbin robin has been released.
So Razer its not responsible for that breakable failuer as nextbit robin was.
Instead of some so called flagships razer brings true innovation.
Other companies just copy each other and apart from new type of CPU and GPU rarely brings something new.

Razer phone lokks exactly like Robin. No its doesnt Robin was plastic and Robin were made before being owned by Razer thats the facts.
Razer looks much better and iits a flagship i would recomend, instead of some other so called flagships which apart from high price offers nothing new.

Galaxy S9 and S9+ are basically going to be a refined S8 and S8+ with slightly slimmer bezels, fingerprint reader located nicely-er on the back, update the specs to 2018 flagship standards, and maybe they want to compete with Sony by putting a 4K HDR screen, too.
Maybe also Dolby Atmos stereo speaker to complete the overall package.
But Sony is on an even bigger upgrade. 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Xperia, and "Mirai" will change everything into better. Who knows, the next Xperia flagship might be more recognized now than the 2017 ones due to considered "outdated" designs.

Keep in mind that S7 doesn't have USB-C though. That was the downside that made me go with Sony XZP.
Buy only Sony, Samsung and maybe LG (V30).
The rest of the brands are pure wannabes with bad updates and poor quality.
Also the china replika brands spy the hell out of you and steal your data.
There is also the Pixel line from Google, but the lack of the SD card slot makes them totally unappealing to me.
It all depends on what kind of user you are and what do you plan on doing with it. If you want to root the phone or not.

You know what else happened in MWC? Sony Xperia XZ Premium got the Best Smartphone Award. I swear that the XZ1 Premium or a flagship phone based on Mirai Design will win it again.
