    Might be disappointed with flagships this year. I love 16:9. You can do bezeless with 16:9. Most things aren't optimized for 18:9 and I find it utterly useless. The price is extremely too high.

I... moreActually the Huawei Mate 10 is way too wide for my liking its so much wider than all other flagships like HTC u11, LG, Samsung etc. It looks cool but I didn't like the wideness makes i difficult to use.

            True sony will not make the 18:9 and the speaker can't to be like this in Sony (not bad, but..)!
            the screan most to be OLED 4K in this XZ Pro is the same Premium .
            also the front Camera can't be in XA2 Dual camera but in XZ pro only one camera.
            the battery will be more 3500 because the 4K OLED need a so much charge like the cameras..

              But i wonder, do indians love 18:9 tall aspect ratio? Even though the StB ratio is not as significant as in the 16:9 phone?

              I dont want the 18:9 become a trend. It is good if manufacture can trim the bezel. But in fact, some manufactures are lazy and follow 18:9 trend with huge bezel and making the phone damn taller.

              But i saw some people like the 18:9 just because it is the teend and every phone should be.

                        As much as I'm a big fan of Sony, I think the information is false. Sony can't be having 4K OLED on their non-Premium lineup; it is one of the main selling point of their Xperia Premium lineup.
                        On the renders, I wonder where the Laser AF and RGBC-IR sensor go. The dots speaker design looks cool, but knowing Sony, they might not do it, but who knows, maybe it's part of the new Mirai design.
                        What's sure is that it will have razor thin bezels while sticking to standard 16:9 ratio because Sony produces contents in that ratio. The movies they own are converted to 16:9 from 21:9 for movie theater screens.

                            so finally Sony surrender and go with the flow. I will miss the aspect ratio.
                            However, the phone seems promising, apart from the mediocre battery capacity for 4k screen of 5.7 inch size. It should be 3600 art least.
                            And wtf is this price! hope it's a sick joke!

                                    Looks like a screenshot from computer screen.
                                    Sony never adds phones to their website before an event.
                                    And it showed up a couple weeks ago.

                                    - It says Android 8.0, of course it will run 8.1
                                    - Dolby Atmos : Sony has own sound tech
                                    - It says also Face ID, iris scanner
                                    - 14,4 cm height
                                    - ISO up to 16000
