FinnishInquisition, 21 Jan 2018Radio frequencies are harmless to us because they largely d... moreYou must be strong as Superman then since you are not even a pinch concerned about radiation and are fanatically trying to prove otherwise that it's actually not a big deal.
When it really is. And to the contrary, I did read a hefty amount of libraries about it.
Please tell me why do sheer number of people report headaches, hallucinations or even pains after having a phone directly next to their head?
Why is it when men have phones next to their testicles for a long period of time that it shows their sperm count is decreased or in the worst case scenario they become infertile?
But even if you'd put plenty of radiation by your head or testicles, it doesn't matter because you're superman so you're strong as steel and nothing can hurt you right?
By the way, to the cancer you can't see, I was referring to the tumours that were just formed and are only seen in your blood or skin tissue, under a microscope.
I wasn't referring to ones that are a few months old or more and you can visibly see them but referring to the ones that are invisible to the human eye and to which there's plenty of cancers ranging from barely detectable to visible so I hope you now understand what I meant by that.

When Motorola removed it, everyone already knew the iPhone won't have it, i assume corporations like Motorola have known it even earlier than us.

No the headphone is doing fine till silly apple chose to remove it.
Why in 2011 did Samsung not remove 3.5mm jack? why in 2012 did Sony not remove 3.5mm jack? why now just because apple decides they follow well I will not comply because they say so,,maybe in future I will not have a phone then if they all remove a superb simple easy 100 yr proven record piece of hard ware.

Removing 3.5 mm from phone does not mean you can not use existing analog earphone. There is dongle. Yes, dongle is not so convenient indeed.
But during historical technical transition period, we always used such adapter. Some old folk may remember larger 6.3 mm (1/4") audio connector used for headphone and microphone before 3.5 mm (1/8") is used. Using old headphone on new device with 3.5 mm hole required bulky adapter. But as time goes by, 3.5 mm jack and earphone with 3.5 mm become wide spread and most audio devices accepts 3.5 mm now, so we no longer use such adapter.
So as time passes and current transition of earphone connector become mature, we will not need dongle anymore for wired earphone, too.

one of the reasons i went for a oneplus 5T instead of the Xiaomi Mi6. Because oneplus is still one of the few companies launching phones with a headphone jack.

Or maybe yo... moreHe is right, you know. That of his is not a theory, it's actually fact. Cellular radio waves are dangerous. Even Wi-Fi waves are dangerous and people should not be near them. But that it the world we live in today - where all kinds of dangerous waves surround you and you can't do anything about it.
But he is right nevertheless. That's why device SAR limits are imposed.

Or maybe you're paid off by big dairy to draw away attention from the fact that milk causes people to turn into traffic lights?! I have as much proof for that as you do for your "theory".

No headphone jack, no charging port, no nothing. Wires are for old people.
Wireless is the future. Either embrace it or be stuck living in the past.

JIJOK, 22 Jan 2018why not 2.5 jack ? 2.5 jack has terrible audio output. That's why 3.5 is the only solution back them in the 90s.
Look, I also love 2.5 jack because they are small and saves up a lot of space. If Nokia had come up earlier with their upcoming Nokia 9/10, it would have been better.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2018Removing the wire and voliá you have even more freedomActually it's the other way around. You have more freedom WITH the jack.
Because even with a headphone-jack you still have Bluetooth.
Thus both wired and wireless. More freedom.

No space is truly saved if the usb port is outputting analogue audio.. And audio is analogue.. For whatever you may have as argument.. And the trouble of finding the correct usb adapter from online stores who have ridiculously priced them in a 3rd world country... Nah 3.5mm is the way
