SD card is needed also a good display.
Huge battery is also good but as long as you have a power efficient proccessor you are good to go.

Titan and Aluminium, for 2000 OR 1200 Dollars.

Sd card = overrated gimmick. 120hz and higher than 1080p screen = overrated gimmick. Less than 4000mah battery = underrated need.

It should be excellent but for what purpose a camera phone needs a headphone jack?
Thats obsollete and thing of past not future.
Razer is a gaming phone and also dont have any jack.

I'm excited to see if it will be this camera or the l16. If ever I would consider buying red, it would only be for the camera. But, let's see what it will give us.

It's not aimed at sheer performance but rather for it's camera and maybe even 3D
835 is still perfectly usable, heck, Even my 4 year old LG G2 with snapdragon 800 runs very well with lineage Os (7.1.2)

Just because a newer model is released doesn't make the previous generation obsolete

Just Like cars. Do you think there's a big difference between a 2017 Camry and a 2018 model?

Only slight changes or even no change in performance

SD855 will be released 2nd half this year, manufactured in 7 nm process by TSMC. Many flagship phones that come out at second half of this year, like Samsung Galaxy Note 9, will use the SD855, not SD845, which is manufactured in old 10 nm process. So the SD835 AP of the RED phone will be *TWO* generations behind other flagship phones as soon as it hits market later this year.

Fake 3D akin to the 3D phones of old. 8 years ago it failed and it will fail again. ITS THE SAME AS THE OLD 3D PHONES PEOPLE! Instead just buy a HTC Evo 3D off ebay

There's not really that big of difference between the 835 and the 845, the average user want know the difference.

Heavy enough to be used in melee combat.
If the camera is something special, I will pay for it.

The 835... no worries. That's plenty fast.
Smaller companies can't jump on new CPUs as fast. They have to set a hardware platform and stick with it.
