Poll: Will you disable iPhone CPU 'throttling' if you have the chance?

28 January 2018
Apple will soon let you see the Health & Condition of your battery. And you'll be able to turn off CPU throttling - but will you?

Just give all the options for the users to toggle Apple!!

I HATE having no options but to eat whateva is fed to me. People can try BOTH options, instability or lag, its up to them!

I like to have key repeats on my iPad NOT accent characters.. BUT NO OPTION to toggle.
I like to have swipe to unlock.. not mash my home button everytime.. BUT NO OPTION to toggle.

Don't worry about "knowing whats best for the people". Worry more about your BUGGY OS, and provide people with more toggles. You already JAILED people in this OS, you don't need to CHAIN them as well....

As the battery ages, it won't be able to deliver as much voltage. If the phone demands more voltage than the battery can deliver, the phone abruptly dies, even if it has a significant charge left.

The difference between Apple and other manufacturers is that the Apple engineers worked their way around it via throttling to ensure their owners had a usable phone, rather than one that dies on them left and right due to an old battery. The only flaw was that they didn't inform the people of this design.

CPU throttling wouldn't be a problem is Apple made their batteries bigger instead of the mediocre ones they have currently. 4'7" screen phones should have 2400+ mAh batteries while 5.5" and bigger should have at least 3000mAh batteries. No amount of optimization can beat a bigger battery.
