people will buy what they want to buy regardless of ur opinion.
same can be said with androids. why spend more on an s8 when s7 is cheaper and can do the same or goto a cheaper brand like Huawei which has same functions.

Just that it is easier to do on android.
Both iP7+ n S8 are capable and have their own strength and weaknesses, but there is no denying which is the cheaper deal.
Rooting on iOS is dying out, so those that wants that, have no choice but to go android.
OS update is always the strength of iOS, but those lock in 2 yrs telco plans with new phones have no incentives to pick iOS only.
Those with Macs will want iOS, as itunes iCloud continually are optimised on it.. those with PC finds itunes a hog..
Choice choice choice, everyone is entitled to their choice and opinions. So let them voice it out and argue, so that potential customer can make a enlighten choice.

I've seen a lot of times apps updated to be compatible with the lastest iOS version and features but in consequence being incompatible with the previous one of the same app forcing you to purchase an update while Apple push you to install the lastest iOS version. Another lack is the absence of trial versions so you must pay and have luck because usually the app is not all you expected in the conveniently favourable description and screenshots.... not user friendly and of course a waste of money as a result. And all that is allowed under the Apple ecosystem and the pay for all mantra.
At least Android give you more options, freedom and compatibility.

Android flagships are not much cheaper. Note 8, V30, pixel 2 xl. The iphone x probably costs more to manufacture than all these. So stop doing this and let people choose the OS they like. There is absolutely nothing bad iphones and iOS. Problems are only mentioned in sites like GSMArena by android fanboys like you. I have both android and iphone flagships. There's nothing my s8 does that my iphone 7 plus doesn't. People like android because they want to illegally put music and videos and games on it. When you want to be a decent person who pays for music, videos and apps iOS is vastly superior.

camera is better, it's dual cam. better front cam, Video cam is better, screen is better, lot better battery life. bigger screen, wireless charging, faster charging. lack of home button makes very smooth user experience. great stereo speakers. face ID, Performance is Super smooth and fast.

I think lot of people did same.because for most 8 plus still is too big but dual cam is one of the most wanted feature among masses.

If you have a 8 really what are you missing a good OLED panel and the ability to make yourself look like a unicorn when you send a message. There is nothing that is amazing and like all i am a user of their products but for the life of me i cant see what i am paying for. Every iPhone has good software and a very good camera.

Think of it this way. The iPhone X is like 60 USD more than the note 8, and according to an article here on gsmarena the cost to manufacture it is actually higher than the note 8. Now think that Samsung uses android which is ready from google. Yes they have to put their skin on it but it's nothing compared to building your own OS.
So yes, apple is not as ridiculous as all the haters think. Have on open mind.

Studio light? Lens blur? Seriously? What exactly is the difference in experience between a iP7 and a X? I'm curious. From topping benchmark tests to not translating such scores in daily usage to numerous issues, almost all tech websites report the device as buggy and a beta product at best. Kindly enlighten me as I'm very curious.

Apple, listen up! Here's what to do to increase more revenue! Every month phone lock itself up and you have to pay 10% of the retail price to use it. EVERY MONTH!
Then, start charging for every time you touch the screen, 1 touch - 1 dollar. Add that to monthly unlocking bill.
Then every photo taken gets deleted (like snapchat) unless you pay to keep it. But, every month picture will degrade unless you, of course, pay.
FINAL ONE: If you are NOT using it, you pay 50% of retail price per month for upsetting hard working manufacturer and his efforts and then you don't use the product. They have my vote on that!
Possibilities are endless...
Scary thing is someone will start using the above "profit increasing methods" very soon...

Dont know if there is an increase in cost for R&D and marketing but still high margins. The thing is that they will keep increasing it to constantly test the market and see how far their reputation and fanbase can carry them through record profits.

I don't see problem to pay $1000 for device which i use hours every single day, why would i settle for less if i can get better experience paying more and have the money?
Some people buy more expensive car and eventually all cars get you from A to B, and yet some people just want that better experience and buy more expensive car.

It´s also totally funny that all those newer high-end phones with those ridiculous price tags don´t offer any real progress. Best example are batteries and cameras. Was there any progress over the past years? Not really. Only marketing became really bombastic. Even some 5 years old Nokia phones took much better photos than iPhone X and Note 8 together. It´s a shameless industry that´s totally based on stupid consumption and shareholder value.

Production costs are maybe 200 $ and they sell those phones for more than 800 Euro... No wonder about more revenue. And the workers in China or the miners in Africa don´t see even five cents of those revenues.
