Looks like LG is on a roll to reach HTC and Sony destiny, which is completely closure in coming years. HTC got billion from Google, Sony is reshuffling leaders to improve its division, LG? Well decided to announce new phone when they Like. LG is in big trouble

When I think of LG phones the first thing which comes to my mind is bootloops. The same is for Nexus / Pixel phones. Damn, even just thinking about new Android releases brings the same to my mind 'cause a bootloop was triggered in my phone after upgrading to new Android release. Such things don't help for building faith in manufacturers.

It's understandable why LG sale so low, it's because their terrible OS (slow and feel incomplete).
I used to have LG G6 and it's so slow it's slower than my Xiaomi A1.
Dear LG, if you can't do it good go back to AOSP is a good start just like Oneplus

LG has some of the best smartphone designs.. But they need to provide longer software update periods and also allow bootloader unlock in their phones. For eg. the H930DS ( dual sim version of LG v30+ cannot be rooted).

G6 and V30 are good phones. But LG UI is terrible. It looks and feels cheap and could be compared with cheap budget class Chinese phones. Such primitive looking and uninspiring UI is the reason why I'll never buy LG device again. At least until they put gear in a.. and create a new stylish UI for their devices.

All is made in South Korea is limited by chinese govern and economy preventing the entrance of korean products in china, because there is a rivalry between the two countries and the chinese people despise the Korean products and the koreans themselves. The chinese aren't any better in nothing than the koreans, nor as people and nor their products.

Not surprise anymore.. Chinese market most competitive market among the others. Chinese smarphone sold milions around the world. If these chinese brands market share collected together like huawei, oppo, xiaomi and vivo, it will kick off samsung and iphone both as you can see the world big top five market share smartphones. LG and sony out of the list.

Put an end to China anti-competitiveness and protectionism.
Sour relationship with South Korea because of the regional conflicts is a lame excuses. This thing suppose to not effecting trading and Korean products import.
Foul cry from China is cheap tricks, when other countries putting their foreign investment at risk they will quickly blame those countries. If it is a bad thing done by them in their home country, they will sue and blackmailing all foreign investment until they are paying sum of penalties that they shall not deserve to pay.
Beijing even openly allowing their local companies to steal patterns at will without worries on patent infringement, as their laws on it almost non-existent. Robber will sue on Court of Justice the company who is having the patent and will make it theirs.

ClearTune, 04 Feb 2018Good move though, even samsung having a hard time in the ch... moreI hear you. Of the 4 carriers in Australia only one offers LG and that's the G6. The only way to get a V30 is through direct import for $1000aud. Seems unless you live in the US or South Korea LG mobile cannot be bothered trying to sell their phones. Same goes for updates. They make carriers pass them on which so far very little have been. G4 hasn't had security update since 2016.

Fun fact : There is Chinese smartphone that can againts Quad DAC of LG V30 (ES9218P) It's called Meizu Pro 7 (CS 43130) and Meizu first product was music player and more music experience than LG.
