My post show that I'm more objective and I try to give logical arguments when I make a statement...I showed the arguments that lead me to believe that the path Nokia's choosen is wrong....I don't know how you consider you are debating since you're not bringing eny valid arguments except...."WP is a good OS...Microsoft has money''....etc...I understand why Apple fans like you believe everyone is against you...since Android is in a continuous expansion...but again please reply only if you have valid arguments instead of just the usual Apple propaganda...!

But from my perspective it just seems that there are so many rabid Nokia haters, and rabid Fandroids that its hard to keep them all separate. Most Fandroids that I've encountered seem to be hell bent on destroying any OS that isn't Android. Most of their dialogue consists of anti-Apple and anti-Nokia trash talk. So if we did debate I probably just lumped you into that segment and forgot about ya.

I would consider... moreYou did say iDevices, but also said that at the time Apple was only involved in desktops/laptops/etc... then referred to innovative devices such as the iPod. The iMac may indeed have the lil "i" in front of it, but its hardly in the same category of "iDevices" as most people think of them. I said Apple had returned to profitability long before those devices came into being. The iPod, and iTunes were not introduced until 2001, long after Apple had turned itself around. The iMac, and soon after - the iBook, were nothing more than colorful and fun computers. Apple had to first save itself by sticking to what it knew it could do well... AND streamlining its product line - which Apple's previous CEO Gil Amelio had also talked about. The current type of iDevices (not including their computers) - iPods, iTunes, iPhone, iPad... these were the devices to allow Apple to innovate, not just recover.

Just look at the latest devices...omnia 7, mozart etc...did they made a sygnifican impact on the market?....You are jumping to conclusions far to quickly and pass a flawed judgement...Read my words more carefully before responding!!! Did I say I want Nokia to fail??? I had 6-7 Nokia phones before I bought Galaxy S!....Nokia is not in a desperate situation...it lost the smartphone segment but it still is number 1 in the lower-mid range area....but empires never collapsed in one day...it takes a long period of erosion to bring them down...I believe that in this rate Nokia will continue to go downhill...their hope has 2 names...Meego and Android!...

I really love how all the simpleton Nokia fanboys were barking a year ago about how fantastic and how much better Symbian is that every other OS (Android, W7, iOS) while they were in their infancy...
Now look, even Nokia admits Symbian is garbage, and all the fanboys have jumped on the new W7 bandwagon to bark about how great THAT is.
Amazing how history repeats itself.
This cycle proves how rabid and undeterred the typical Nokia fanboy is.

The introduction of the imac was 1998, their stock ended that year at $30 up from $13 at the opening. With the introduction of the ipods, apple's stock grew from $42 to over $100 within a year. The ipod is the main contributor to Apple's success and with the ipod came itunes which integrated everything. Again, this is impossible for Nokia, Nokia isn't doing anything revolutionary, they're not releasing an itunes equivalence to make smartphone use simpler, they're not releasing a new innovative device like the ipod which seamlessly integrates your music. Nokia Chose Windows Phone 7 after Google denied them any rights to modify Google's Android and with the lackluster sales of Windows Phone 7 they will not make a come back. Windows 6.5 left a bad taste in the mouths of many smart phone users and so did Nokia with their blatant failures after the N95. The N97, N97 mini, E72, E73, N900 were all crap and so was the N8. The N8 was released 1.5 years too late and should've been out when the iphone 3G was released. This is undeniable fact. Combine poop with poop doesn't give you ice cream. One bad taste mixed with another bad taste doesn't make a gourmet dish. The people will no longer trust in Nokia, and since Nokia isn't bringing a new device that no one has ever used before people are not willing to give them a second try.

I know, it's hard for you to accept defeat but Nokia was beaten by Samsung and Apple in smartphone sales world wide. Nokia is no longer the King of smartphones but they're still the king of dumbphones. XD

I've seen your name floating around but sorry to disappoint you. Yes I have a Nokia phone as well as several Apple products, Vizio, Sony Ericsson, Roku, etc. And only time will tell whether you or I are correct about Windows Phone 7 and Nokia. Any company can come back from near collapse. Apple rose from the ashes of death. Nokia is far from being as bad off as Apple was in 1997... so there is no need to think they will fall. Many companies have turned themselves around. Just be open minded about it. Unless you WANT them to fail... since they don't use Android. That's the only reason I could think anyone would want them to fail. Nokia makes some solid devices that work great. I think it would be a shame for them to waste away into nothing.

Even thought all these statistics and their almighty glory.
I will buy the SE Xperia Mini Pro (Android) to get me a more pocket friendly phone, than my current HTC Desire HD (Also Android).
I have come to like (if not love) the Android and therefor staying with it.
Symbian, Meego, IOS or WP7.5 Mango smartphones is not even close to make me splash out any money for a phone with those OS:es.

I don't think its that people don't like the tiles, its that people are bombarded on EVERY carrier with so many Android options and only a handful of devices running WP7 that when a WP7 device is chosen its very few and far between. I still firmly believe Microsoft/Nokia has to play the Apple game and gear its marketing along the lines of what makes Apple so successful... and that is stay away from pushing the "specs" of a device and push more about what the device can do for every user. They need to give it that fun, family, memories, friends, "magical" sorta twist. It works well for Apple, no reason to think Nokia can't do the same. Question is - will they?

Apple hadn't gotten into the non-PC type products till a few years after they had successfully brought themselves back from near death. Apple reinvented itself within the parameters of the PC industry. The only "new" thing they offered was the iMac all in one. However all in ones were not at all new to the industry.
Nokia can certainly do the same thing... within the parameters of the current smartphone market.

The difference between Apple's near demise was that they were only into desktop/laptops/workstation sales before in which PC dominated, then they took a gamble and reinvented themselves by starting the iline of devices such as ipods which was a tremendous success as it was something new, innovative, and not on the market before. Now the difference with Nokia is, they're not trying something new, Windows Phone 7 have been out already and sales are lackluster proving that there is not a huge demand for this OS. So, no, the same thing wont' happen for Nokia in this case. Unless Nokia suddenly makes Windows Phone 7 look entirely different, many people don't like the simple tiles.
