[deleted post]Stock Android Oreo doesn't have half of the features present even on Samsung Nougat, let alone on Samsung Oreo. Even iOS 11 is now richer in features than stock Android.

This is the lamest excuse ever for the lazy AF updates. If I pay 1000 euro on a phone, i expect interstellar travel from it! I want the updates the same week Google announces it. Otherwise there's no reason to choose this brand over others, which by the way have had oreo since October.
And if you're the unfortunate person that bought the phone locked in a carrier, you can say bye bye to updates..

AnonD-558092, 08 Feb 2018Oh you mean on a 7 year old Galaxy Core Lite? Dude, Lag ... moreAs much as I like Samsung, performance and consistency are sadly not their thing.
Got a Galaxy Tab 3 that couldn't even run such games like Real Driving 3D smoothly, let alone new ones like Rules of Survival.
On the other hand, my Lenovo A536 handles it pretty well. Nothing mind-blowing, but certainly more usable than my Tab 3.
Tried a S8 for once and as a flagship, my expectations were really high. The phone didn't disappoint me, but it failed to fulfill my expectations. For instance, the XZ Premium was about $100 cheaper yet performed just as good or even better.
And I'm not even talking about how quick do they release updates just yet.

Dude, Lag has been dealt with a long time ago. Time to try again. And do not tell us you already tried on like an S7 or more recent, because that is not true.

Almost half a year after Sony release Oreo on the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact. Awful turn around time if you ask me.

Never again Samsung, you make good devices. But your lack of support is disgusting!

Urgh this is a tiny bit annoying, I know I won't be waiting long but I'm one of the UK beta testers and thought we were getting the update sooner.
