again it is all about the quality of the brands!Gs2,sensation looks great on a PAPER but in real life...we can see the result!)
yes my gf has xperia arc and i can tell you,look on the paper it is not so awesome but everything works just great,and sometimes even better perfomans then those expensive and low quality dual cores!)

I just bought my HTC Sensation 3 weeks ago, and I didn't have any problems with the LCD whatsoever. I don't know if the firmware update I received a day after I got the phone fixed the issue, but ever since I bought this phone I never had any problems with the LCD. Well, the death grip issue is there but it doesn't seem to affect the speed of the connection. It could affect the number of wifi hotspots you could detect.
Another problem I found is the weak volume of the speakers and the choppy playback of AVI videos. It can play M4V video files smoothly though.

HTC is not a good company! My Desire had really big problems trying to keep a stable 3g-connection, and my Desire Z had a very loose hinge and a fatal ÅÄÖ bug that HTC never bothered to fix, and now Sensation have very many problems.
Samsung Galaxy S and S2 may be plastic but they are almost impossible to brick, and Samsung is today the best company when it comes to updating their phones.

I've bought sensation a while ago. Besides the low battery life it started to have touchscreen problems after a few weeks, then after a software upgrade it started to reset on it's own in some occasions. After resetting the icons of the applications which i installed have turned into androids droid icons! I can still use the applications but it doesn't look nice! I don't even want to say anything about the front camera, i mean what good it is if u can't make video calls? As much as i was satisfied with the previous models of htc, i'm considering to switch to a different brand with less complications.

yes... Iam also having the same problem and also the screen flickers enormously with scrolling, so if you enter the option menu with white capitals on black background the font is just not readable while scrolling slowly down.

So far mine is ok (more than 10 days already) but this really sucks! I also don't notice the wi-fi death grip issue but I hardly use my phone in landscape mode...

i have the sensation for 2 months and the screen is perfect
the camera is perfect
no death grip or wifi issues !!! and now the writers say SGS2 is doing better ?!?!?!?!?!?!
better in what ? not locking on GPS ? not having any WIFI signal !!! losing network signal ? pinkish spots in camera !!!! colored spots in screen !!!! cuz all of this is what my SGS2 have over the sensation
and get your facts straight !!! the S-off and the ability to add custom roms is available for around a week for the sensation !!

If you are facing such an issue, Touchscreen phones aren't meant for you!
Man, touch phones demands/needs accuracy, specially in unlocking it! (Isn't it the way it should be?)
Pull up that ring right UP, and it'll unlock in a second!

Wow!! HTC, what's happening with you?!!
this cannot be alie for a lot of users are already complaining..
it's so sad that companies nowadays rush their products to the market so that they can be up to date and catch up with their competitors,
sacrificing their customers satisfaction by putting out this products that should still be under R&D..
a good example would be the Optimus 2X, they did it so they can say that they released the 1st ever dual core phone! but it's sub standrad!!

I work outside in Iraq where the temperature is above 125F & have a HTC Sensation 4G. I have had no trouble with the phone since I got it over a month ago. No dropped calls or touchscreen issues.I actually like this phone.

Thank God I didn't get the Sensation! I was torn between this and the Samsung Galaxy S2 but eventually went for the latter. Yes, it's not without fault (you may have already heard about the yellow tint and pink spot), but it's more awesome than disappointing. I hope HTC works on this though.

Cheap tactics by HTC to release the phone without good r&d, as always. SGS2 is far better in many aspects.
