Samoderzhets, 13 Feb 2018Something's fishy.. If the single core score is indeed so h... moreIt's because GB has very poor implementation of multi-threading and doesn't maximize all cores of the SoC. We should be looking at 12K minimum if they ever fix this w*rthless app.

Seems accurate to me the old Exynos scores were : 2000 and 6300
According to samsung the new one should be 80-90% Faster in the single core and 40% faster in the multi core which is exactly what we got .
3648 is 80% Faster than 2000 .
and 8894 is 40% Faster than 6300 .

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2018what are you smoking? bench scores prove nothing android ha... moreI agree, benchmarks don't prove anything in real world situations where it's been found previous generation SOCs like Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 have beaten the iPhone while opening most apps. Those benchmark crushing numbers on the A11 prove nothing when real world performance is on par with the competition. Unless you edit lots of 4K videos the difference just won't show up

Something's fishy.. If the single core score is indeed so high, then the multicore one should be way higher..

But you have to consider that Apple doesn't sleep, which means that when Samsung surpassed the A11, Apple will have already released the A12.

Plot Twist: It was overclocked all the way up to 25GHz to achieve those scores, with a block of ice from North Pole to keep it away from throttling.
LOL jk
Those are seriously some of the most impressive scores I've seen so far, as far as Android is concerned. Kudos to Samsung! Mongoose is indeed a beast.
It would only take a little more time until Exynos would finally overpass Apple Ax SoCs in raw power.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm can suck a ****. Samsung has just got them beaten, and their only main selling point is their upcoming 5G Band, which won't be available in all regions of the world immediately. Samsung should forget about using their SoCs and start focusing on utilizing their own chips only. I know US customers would get mad, but they could literally just purchase them online with all network providers working.
I just hate the fact that this SoC has to be throttled down to make the SD845's reputation better. Good thing this is Android. Some work on software and I could change its clock speed up to what it's advertised to be and achieve the results that I'm supposed to be getting out of the whole processor.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 20183648 / 4232 = 0.86 Pretty much close. The newest score posted online for the exynos 9810 is 3717 for single core. If that is indeed the case, the a11 would be 14% more powerful in single threaded operations.

WOW. Samsung should just ditch the SD 845 entirely and use the Exynos 9810 on all the Galaxy S9s! (Not that I care though since my country always get the Exynos version.)

Mirkran, 13 Feb 2018Impressive as may be, I no longer care for powerful chipset... moreYou're kidding right? I myself am not the kind to use the best chipset for casual games and other stuff. (For that I could simply grab an S625 Phone in 700 ILS/180$) I am using my phone (Except for extreme gaming) for computational tasks that will work only with the highest end possible. (tried iPhone. no. they don't do that kind of stuff. just android) but mostly I agree. I am a power user. and I will always seek the most powerful)
