Did I hear 35 percent less power consumption? We could expect the phone to come with a 1800 mah battery then. The bar has been set since long for the smartphone batteries. Does these companies listen to consumers any more?

looks like LG is only keeping the line of large screen model.
Good luck to LG, I think LG's share in market will be further reduced.
regular screen size phone is the best for general outdoor use, especially on taking photos.
large screen phone has advantage when use in indoor environment. but in such case, TAB is an even better option.

LG phones have best optimization and usually last longer than other phones, without bugs and lags. You obviously never used an LG phone. I can confirm that after 2.5 years of usage on LG G4 which is still so smooth, and now with V30+.

Though RGBW matrix will help with maximum brightness.

... moreThis is so true. its because technology is running out of leaps and bounds so the only wow factor left is screen size. i hate the 18:9 screens much prefere the traditional 16:9
A 5.2" 16:9 almost bezeless screen, with flagship specs, decent camera, light weight non slippy design, stereo speakers and headphone jack, and will somone bring back the ir blaster so useful and yet so forgotten about. There will be some good flagship phones out this year and this im affraid aint one of them.
