The processors are more powerful, the graphics are more powerful, the screens are bigger, the dpi is bigger ... And the batteries are still the same 3000-3500mhz. Only in Lenovo c model P2 came up with a decent energy efficiency.

4gb of RAM still I see: not a flagship.

Enjoy your constantly reloading apps in this ever hungrier ecosystem named android.
Either you keep up with the times or go extinct. LG chose extinction ... too bad, used to be the last to offer fully featured phones (and then some) for their time (LG G5 anyone?)

LG has lost all sense of G7 instead repeat of V30 with AI. What's this device either V40! It should streamline all possible bottleneck in releasing and distribution all over world at same time. Always no availability or Supply issues. Then later sell at hslf price. Much improvement needed in Themes icons and Tweets! Samsung has crossed that level after debacle of N7! With dignity! Let's see if at all it matures!

Alex, 17 Feb 2018A 6.1 inch screen? No, thank you. Why don't you just put a... moreThere's a limit admittedly but it fits right inbetween Samsung galaxy note 8 (6.3 inch) and hauwei mate 10 pro (6 inch). Why spend so much on a phone if the screen is going to be useless for watching stuff? There's a reason these bigger phones are becoming even more popular but I do agree there should be alternatives for those that don't want it.

AnonD-468012, 17 Feb 2018LG copied "DAC built-in" feature at iPhone 5.And Apple copied it from Samsung ? :D

Who had the right for that patent so it will be irrelevant who will use it as you need to pay the fee for it anyways to use it on there device. How many other patents have apple copied over others and how big of a patent bank Nokia had/have so it does not matter how much anybody use what ever features.

LG's flagships are not G series, but "V" series.

I can't believe that they will get back to LCD display. It won't be suitable with daydream. Also 4/64GB memory configuration sounds a little bit 2017. Maybe they will have 2 devices. One with this configuration and one with OLED and 6/128GB (like Huawai mate 10 and 10Pro).

I'll go back to LG when the bootloop issue is gone. I like LG G-series and V-series, for now I'll use Huawei Mate 10 pro... :-)

LG has unique+great phones on paper, but:
                                    - terrible distribution channels, cannot find phones to try and buy at stores even if you want to
                                    - terrible support service, including updates and timely response/fix to errors of both software and hardware
Really hope LG could improve to compete in mobile phone market. I love LG TV and wash machine.

6.1inch screen? might as well just carry a tablet around.

so many people want a small phone with flagship specs, yet manufacturers choose to ignore the quiet high demand for them??

After Sony and Samsung, I would probably go for the LG V30. But, LG has a terrible updating service: it doesn't exist :))
