sony really love to repeat the same mistake over and over again.
oh this year they will put fingerprint in the back.. lol even more uglier than last year.

But removing the headphone jack creates another problem, because you will use the USB-C port for charging your phone AND listen to music, and the lifespan of the port will be shorter due to wear and tear. And the battery capacity gain is negligible.

Now that they seems moving the fingerprint to the back perhaps they'd remove the front stereo speakers too and move them to the back like in the Axon 9... It'll be astonishing watch the face of people looking the bathtub shape of the phone and the grids of the speakers on the back with the fingerprint...
The problem with only one usb type-c is that if you want to listen to music while charging your phone you have to carry a dual port adapter that besides being more expensive is inconvenient because it is bigger and more complex.

Since having a ‘no jack’ in a smartphone is slowly implemented in smartphone industry, then audio product makers should convert it’s 3.5mm connector to USB Type-C so people won’t complain. If we do think about it, without adding the headphone jack has some benefits like having more space inside for some stuffs especially the battery etc...

If one of the Sony reps checked this article, please add another USB-C to replace the Headphone Jack. The sounds from USB-C are awesome. How did I know this? Ask HTC's U-Sonic noise cancelling earbuds.
