DarkJava, 24 Feb 2018You don't need a good camera to look beautiful LOL. it makes a slight difference but lets say with a huge impact, with Sony XZ P you can see the variety in colors in her face and how it got details which is better than other phones selfies.

I tested and yup a bit dark but not worst... Why so affected? This site doesn't have a million subscribers. People who doesn't like this phone won't change anything a maximum of maybe 100 bad comments. That's chicken....

Phone cameras are supposed to be point and shoot. If I want to fiddle around, pretty sure my SLR has more manual controls than what could be on a smartphone.. And you really think people would want to say wait, I'm adjusting light metering and contrast ratio before a selfie of all things?

Hi GSM Arena. I posted earlier that I tested my XZ Premium in a room with a window directly facing the sun and it exposed my face just fine. I wanted to post that video, but due to where I took the video I can't.
Instead I took another video while grabbing something to eat. Here I am with a nice, bright background through a window and whether the background is blown out or exposed properly my face stays just fine and easily visible.

i think gsmarena is BLIND and BIASED,. they forgot that there is THE BEAST phone out there. How could you not include the XZ Premium in the beginning?i already tested iphone x, note 8 and mate 10 pro but the result is, XZ Premium is too good and almost perfext in every aspect. XZ Premium is the king of speed and the king of camera, FACT!

That's one of the reason why I love coming on this site, you listen and take care about what people say, that's great!
Sony always tend to adjust exposure that way, that's why sometimes I switch to manual to adjust that, I usually set the option to "Center" to make the thing I wanna shoot pop more.
Apart from that the selfie snapper is really great, though I'm not a selfie guy, so that's a bit of wasted potential here...
Video stabilization has always been a strong point of Sony phones, it can easily compete with the best OIS!

I really recommend the beautiful girl to only record her selfies with Sony XZ P, that's only if she wanted to look beautiful and not washed out!!
