The E398 was actually a fantastic phone for it's time. It didn't have a vibrate motor. The speakers did the vibrating. First phone to use the Transflash memory card which was adopted by all other manufacturers and became known as the Micro SD we still use today.
I still remember a guy who worked at Nokia saying Micro SD is a stupid format and will fall away and Nokia's format would become standard. LOL.
The E398 got a huge cult following and many fans created custom software versions for this phone with lots of extra features thrown in.

Motorola has some interesting other products that is forgotten such as: atrix with finger print sensor and laptop dock. There are also charm n backflip with unecessary backtrack. Rizr z8 n z10 with odd slider mechanism. The swivel v70, v80 n aura. The touch keypad on rokr e8. The covered screen Ming series and much more. But i really2 missed the razr family, i hope someday there will be new flip razr family in moto line up

My first smartphone and really was ahead of time. Phone with Bluetooth while everybody else had infrared, super surround sound as well.

RIP Motorola that made phones why ahead of.its time you will be missed

Blinking LEDs feeding of phone's radiation were also great.

But this feature will remain a gimmick until Apple and Samsung do it. Do it, the same way Sony implemented it. Just like the 960fps Slow Motion on the S9/S9+.
