Samsung S8 which does not look like a fruity phone sold million units. In contrast, everybody expecting iphone 8 to flop but it was the other way around. Iphone X sold millions, but less than expected because of its price and/or design. If apple split the notch and place it at all corners, these d*mb manufacturers will still copy it.

These brain dead designers are obviously copying some fruit. They can only copy back design previously (hello oneplus 3, 5, 5t, all other china phone) 'cause the front looks too generic.

Actually Essential Phone lookalikes because Apple took iPhone X design from the Essential phone, which is the first phone with this design. Apple stopped innovating years ago, they are getting huge sales thanks to its name and shallow reputation rather than good products.

As we have seen the 18:9 trend and removing headphone jack trend is getting spread like a wildfire.
This notch trend must stop.

The notch is a great design solution in my opinion. It's much better to use the space around the sensors for status icons that otherwise must take up space on the normal screen area then just having dead space on the sides like the normal "forehead" design.
It would be nice though if manufactures would let you choose if these areas should be for status icons only (with black baground), for people that are having issue with a notch. With an oled display like on the iPhone X the notch is pretty much invisible if the background is black.

Hey You, Don't say The Chinese Makers like "Asus, Xiaomi, Huawei" or even korean company (Samsung) and others are copying Apple Iphone x design. They are the professional, competitive and remember , you should know that most apple smartphone products are always above the world average price of smartphone market which is not necessarily smartphone performance can match other manufacturers such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Asus and others. All of you must understand that .!!

The Mi Mix 2 has weird to do for selfie. It's cleary you don't anything about ASUS and decides. Hope your decides underestimated by someone else.

I am happy that I got the iPhone 7. It means I'm fine until there is an iPhone both without a notch and at a cheaper price than iPhone X.

Since you seriously take the copying of S... moreMost of these companies that are "copying" samsung and apple can't afford using qualcomm (you need to understand. a snapdragon 845 costs 62$ per unit. and 660 is about 43$) and Samsung's exynos uses FULLY COSTUM cores. (the mongoose M1, M2, and M3 are ABSULUTELY made from scratch.) as for IPxx ratios. that requires sealing of some sort, Nanocoating costs quite a bunch. and again. 99% of the android companies are LESS rich than Samsung.
and that's just the TIP of the ICEBERG for explaination. shall I continue?

It was all the time massive disappointment when you see companies cheaply trying to imitate Apple to expect that it will sell. People should realize no one give a damne these days how your phone looks. If you think you can make people faint when you will show of your iPhone x nock off for couple of hundred dollars you wrong. Definitely not as it use to be back in the days.
