Which other non stock or close to stock UI has Oreo? 2017 LG flagships are till on Nougat, HTC, Sony, Oneplus are close to stock. Huawei released mate 10 series on Oreo, so why are you guy whining about the Oreo update? What is it bringing to the table that doesn't already exist on Samsung Experience UI?

None of the above phones. The VIVO Apex and the Gemini PDA with SailfishOS caught my interest from MWC.

Probably the Xperias. S9/S9+ are really good too. V30s is nice but feels kinda useless of a release. Apex and Asus flagships? Nope, not interested and will never be impressed with any Chinese whatsoevers. Don't judge me, I'm just being me.

Even though I'm a Sony fan, I vote for S9/S9+ because that's the reality and I'm not biased.
The fugly design of the XZ2 and the lack of the 3.5mm jack makes it take the 2nd place.
If they don't bring the 3.5mm jack back on the XZ Premium line, I'm jumping boats to Samsung!

The real answer is the Vivo APEX. The rest is disappointments. But since it's only a concept, we aren't going to see it on sale anytime soon

None of these phones is at all innovative or special. The only phone that deserves a mention and would get my vote is the Vivo Apex with it's bezel less display, large under-screen fingerprint reader and pop up selfie camera. I would buy that phone if it had an S-Pen like stylus being my daily driver is a Note 8, but the one weakness of the 8 is flaky biometric ergonomics.

Big fail for Lg to introduce v30S. They should introduce G7.
Same as to use the same chipset!

People are voting for Samsung because their aggressive marketing- in reality Samsung provide worse android support .. using galaxy noteb8 with primitive android .. no sign of update . Also here no one will say note 8 lags.. coz sammy fans are used to the lags. But my note 8 lags .. and never ever going to buy or suggest Samsung to anyone

Sony got small bezels, people say it's ugly.
Fine! I get it now, that the notch is the meaning of beauty!
Ignore the hardware innovations in favor of a beautiful design that would live inside an ugly case.

s-s9 has the high rating why because there are a lot of people using this s brand without knowing the advantage of other brands out there. none techie people. the brand only and thats it. but if 80% out 100% people are techie then im 100% sure that this would not be on top because they would more wiser to choose.

Am really happy Sony Xperia is getting the respect it deserves. The design is not fantastic, just good, but it's really a nice upgrade to XZ1. Would get one for sure when money comes. Seriously liking that new vibration tech.

AnonD-728507, 04 Mar 2018"new Sony Xperia's that changed everything except the one t... moreTo be honest, there is a lot to like about the XZ2 range, the 1080p@960fps is truly impressive, the HDR content upscaling also.
It's just the design is now somewhat generic, headphone jack is gone for no good reason (not that I've ever heard a good reason to remove it from any OEM) and they are too heavy and thick. That thickness wouldn't be too bad in itself, if it brought with it correspondingly bigger battery sizes, it doesn't (the batteries are only marginally bigger).
All this redesign gives us is......smaller bezels, are bezels really that much of a hindrance?????
The one thing really left untouched however is the camera setup, and that has long been my personal biggest grip with Xperia device's.
They are not bad device's, but they are nowhere near what I was hoping for from Sony.
Am not that impressed with the S9 range either, but if going down that route then I would agree the S9+ is the better option this time.
