I got issue with my pervious u11 LCD if you don’t believe check XDA forums u11 screen issues even U11 plus LCD still crap used for 1 day can’t handle the lower brightness and reddish tint from LCD panel, best LCD goes to iPhone 8 Plus period.

Zee, 05 Mar 2018No headphone jack??? No buy & Bye ByeHTC is the only manufacturer that can make you forget about the 3.5mm jack reason being, they compensate that with outstanding Audio experience! But if you've never experience a HTC phone or rather own M7,M8,M9, HTC 10/11/U plus, you will always complain about the audio jack.

why is no one talking about the only thing that truly great in this device?
full project treble support. i was thinking about changing to only pixel devices because the lack of updates/security patches smartphones have this days. i've 3, 4 updates a year at max and that is bad in my book. htc was one of the first to have android 8 but still is not good enought when i'm used to nexus and iphone updates.
with project treble that could change, i'm willing to give one more change to htc if they commit with faster and better updates.
no jack or no amoled are all thing that i get over it by the quality of the sound provided from htc and screen quality.

AnonD-733084, 05 Mar 2018hTc please stop using lcd panels just go for AMOLED already!they can't go amoled, the price would be sky high. their lcd panels are the best what they can be so I'm not worried about that. with the bonus that they don't have problems with color shifting, burn-in, jelly effect scrolling, etc. the only problem with lcd it will consume more energy than amoled in most of situations, but since htc u11 with sd835 was already a fantastic device in battery department, i won't expect worst battery life in htc u12 with sd845.

who cares what you think..go buy one plus, with the bonus you will get free malware. or go buy Samsung devices that don't have official updates....you should open up broader horizons.

No it does not, but you would rather crucify HTC's innovation where as you have the headphone jack adapter so as to suit 3.5mm headphone jack users. Come on lets stop this selected criticism here.

Too little, too late.
HTC is a dying company, with plummeting sales and revenue and execs leaving.
In less than 2 years the company will no longer exist as an independent unit, it will be either bankrupt or sold to the highest bidder.
