Some people just hate to still see loading screens in 2018 (especially since even low end phones can avoid them at this point. Some people dislike paying top dollar for what is not top service. And at this point 4GB is a low end spec.

It's enough to operate a phone (obviously), it has no place to a high end phone though. Then again HTC never cared much for customer satisfaction which is why she is as low in (being a) customer choice...

Anybody who owns U11/U11 plus will confirm how beautiful they are, yes I agree and I also miss the solid built quality of metal in HTC phones I think they need to bring that back. But calling the u11 ugly! I will have to disagree on that.

LG V30 was a belter, let down by cameras and screen. They had all the other boxes ticked. They had a good screen size, wireless charging, capable software and one of the best looking phones of the year, imo. Trouble is, the leader, Samsung, although inferior in looks, had no weak links. I looked at a V30 in store recently, screen burn was obvious. You just can't get away with a weak screen. HTC had a lovely design, but stripped out the headphone jack and wireless charging. For me, the dongle goes some way to help, but there is nothing similar to mitigate the lack of wireless charging. Also, it seems the HTC U11 + had an average screen, which happened to sap the battery. Sony, they are improving, but come on, to not upgrade the camera modules is just suicide. If Huawei had wireless charging, they would be even more successful than they are. The old guard have to include everything in a flagship, not strip bits out.

-. -, 05 Mar 2018Really hope to see HTC and Sony to be back in the game, sin... moreTrue, agreed friend. Both now are at the mid to the lower levels in terms of their sales, both got affected by one of the most notable fiasco; the overheating of the SNAPDRAGON 810. The SNAPDRAGON 810 was to blame because of how fast they throttle and overheat, SAMSUNG was smart that time, with the release of EXYNOS 7420 inside the GALAXY S6, but, people still blame both brands for the overheating of their smartphones with SNAPDRAGON 810 inside, is either they don't know tech (Sry for those, no offense) or they didn't know the situation of the SNAPDRAGON 810. HTC is dropping in their sales every single year, Sony is earning profits and have a slightly better sales than their previous years after the fiasco of the chipset. It seems like SAMSUNG made some wise moves to avoid the situation, and made some major improvements on their design and camera with the GALAXY S7 which bring their sales up. But I still hope Sony and HTC can get back up into the game, same goes to LG, these are the big players always mentioned in the competition in the past. Sorry if I didn't mention Apple, mainly because their sales went on a constant scale for the past few years till now...

Beside the battery life Only 3.5mm jack have someplace of matter for me, ip68 is over kill, i have a htc 10 and only problem with washing the phone with water(which i had to do once) was its sim socket that i had to dry with a tissue before using phone. Also dual camera setup is only practical if add a optical zoom feature + boke effect.

The U11/U11+ both look great and perform great but I'd love to see a bezel less M8 or HTC 10 with all metal build! That would be slick👍

Never really had any performance complain with HTC. All they need is the refreshing classic HTC industrious design. This girly shiny colours doesn't appeal to it's old fan base. HTC 10 like bezelless design will be great.
