I have spent last 6 years researching LG and loving it. I just cant believe that they will follow the notch trend. And i really hope that this wont be the so called G7. I am aware that the notch is the best way to get that bezelless display and until they make something like transparent display (so camera can be under) the notch will be the trend, so ugly truth.

All OEMS except Samsung and Nokia lost their authenticity and became Apple copycats. I hope HTC and Google don't take the same direction too.

WTF, so disappointed in you LG with that "Notch". Why cant you express your own identity instead of copy Apple. If you want to copy Apple, then at least copy how they write their camera app to fully maximise the camera. My dad was very full of praise of Lg G6, but dont think we will be buying LG product for a while

I see a lot of anti-notch, which I get. But the Achilles heel for this device will be the battery. Needs to be a 3500mA minimum. Hopefully the screen, and camera lessons have been learnt.

If battery really will be miserable 3000mAh again, then I dont get these OEM's not at all. Do they really don't want to sell their products? Release it with 6000mAh batterry and smash competition. But no... again same lame 3000mAh. WTF.

I was potentially thinking to get an LG v30 bit seeing how retarded these guys are with their screen design choices, I changed my mind. I would rather go for an S9 now.

The weird thing is that LG was already really close to a good solution with their V10 and V20 design. Use the top for a secondary ticker, put the camera in the corner and you could have almost entirely screen without feeling like a piece is missing. It's disappointing that they'd just do the same thing as everyone else when they have good ideas of their own.
