And you cant compare those two read all the coment. In huawei P20 pro has been camera set up to match camera of lumia 1020. Its said on first page.
Without that P20 pro does much Much MUCH better photos.

Sony is the best mirrorless camera maker. But in dslr, Nikon and Canon has no contest.
I still buy Sony Tv. They are the only one that uses high speed panel. All others use 50hz panels, except for some models.
I just checked P20 pro review against 1020. P20 pro is still not better than 1020.

Company which makes and aspecializes only on one product can make it genuine perfect.
Sony isnt that case. They litterary makes everything from balck tech.
And we know how ended Sony Vaio their Notebook department.
Noone was buyng it because of the price and lower that a low specs.
For example Nikon is like JBL or Bose from making Audio.
Sony isnt even a halfway there.

But the one you found looks promising.
As i said it will be nokia 10.
And if my inteel was right it will have comparable camera with any profesional camera from Nikon or Cannon. And its successor will be even much better.
Simmilar to Apple X its a concept phone from which 3 new comming this year.
This Nokia X will be same.

But this one looks promising.
I am no profesional photographer but working for a company which sells cell phones also in past was working for a company which sells white and black tech.
I mean almost every appliance or machine with cord to plug into eletricity.
So i kn ow something about :-)

Buy Nkon or Cannon f... moreYes i know all about this, because i am a pro photographer and was a seller once. I need a phone camera that, i can carry any time. I can't carry my D600 and 28-70 2.8 and 80-200 and other lenses all the time. I also have a Sony Rx1-R full frame mirrorless. But even it is too big. Was thinking of buying Sony Rx100, but not small either to fit in my pocket.
Make a Panasonic CM2, with 1.8-2.5 3x optical zoom, 1" sensor, i can pay what ever is needed. So all phone cameras are junk for me. Only Nokia 1020 and CM1 is up to my standarts. I must see real full size samples of P20 pro. There are some 10mp samples, they seem ok, but zoom is very bad.
Also Red Hydrogen One can have a big sensor camera.

Buy Nkon or Cannon for 150 eur and it will do much better and much more quality photos than S9+ i can guarantee you that.
Even a budget camera from a premum brand does much Much MUCH better photos than best amera phone ever created.

In banghladesh average monthly salary is aproximetly 17 eur.
In my country in slovakia its around 927 eur but most people like 70% dobnt get more than 500 maybe 550.
For another example basic workers at Foxconn where Apple, Samsung and 70% of all the mobile phones are made get 0,20 eur per hour and shift managers like 1 eur a hour and all these people working 11 hours a day. Thats not very bright future.

Could be 40mp as the main sensor, 20mp black&white, 8mp 3x optical zoom.
If it is just 1/2.3" it will be rubbish. We need at least 1/1.7" sensor or even more. We need 1020. Phone producers must be stupid. I hope Red will distrupt the industry just like Tesla did.

AnonD-672395, 22 Mar 2018Actually the 19MP or 12MP sensor is the one with the variab... moreI was right. Huawei seems to be using the same sensor as on the Sony XZ Premium. That's why one of the main sensors in a 20MP sensor and like XDA developers mentioned, the P20 will do 960fps at 720p.

Now the only mystery remaining are the specifications of the 40MP sensor. I am guessing it would be a 40MP 30fps PDAF sensor.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2018I think it's just different approaches...instead of investi... moreActually the 19MP or 12MP sensor is the one with the variable aperture and the 40MP sensor is used along with the 8MP for 5x zoom. It could have been done with 2 x 12MP sensors like it is done on the iPhones and the Samsung Note 8, but that may have been limited to 2x Zoom. Plus I am guessing that kind of zoom has issues with Aperture and Low light, which Huawei appears to address by having the 8MP most likely as a B&W camera.

Nokia L... moreI think it's just different approaches...instead of investing a ridiculous amount of money into improving a single camera sensor, get 2 lower quality ones that complement each-other to achieve the same results for much less cash...think of it as dual-core CPUs back in the day and the same reason why you don't see CPU clocks going up yet speeds improve. Easy example: core A does your windows background stuff, core B does your Excel calculations...with cameras, have camera A grab the color data, and camera B grab the lighting. Assuming you properly select your hardware for the task and you tune the software right, the effect can be really good and you will be saving on the cost...if you mess up somewhere though, the effects will be equally noticeable.
If you think about it that way, it does make sense (assuming you don't go overboard with the number of cameras...I think 2 is a good number for this, 3 is a bit pushing it, more is definitely overkill)

Well, so comments are increasing on Huawei P20/P20 Pro news after news. Things will get interesting after official annoucement.
I only hope that front home button will not be on final unit.
