LOL, if there was "a good reason", he wouldn't have to explain and justify it, it would have been a natural and demanded step. Instead, they are going against 80%+ of us, just like the others did with the 3.5mm jack.

notch fad is getting out of hand. look at those bezels. add another few mm to the forehead and SAVE US from the jony ive notch disease

A rebranded Oppo. NO-tch buy. It was absurd read the "Learn to love the notch" from Carl Pei in One Plus Reddit. I don't need to learn anything, i know what i like and what not and notch = not buy. I don't like any of them. As an Oppo clone we even know what cameras will have before be released. And where is the notification led? I just can see those that say use an app to dissimulate the notch how fast they'll burn their displays.

Thank god i bought the oneplus 5T in launch day, i knew it would be the best bargain phone to replace my old Nexus 5. And what a worthy upgrade it is.
I saw the notch, i used the iphone X and i discardd right away.
Unless, full bezeless displays isn't in the market i will stick to my oneplus 5T
