No sales because s9 plus is very expensive looks same like s8 plus. Note 8 is more useful and much better ,

Unless this Note 9 or any future Note comes with significant added uses, perhaps an innovative way to run Windows locally in DeX mode, wouldn't be compelled enough to upgrade my Note 8 for the next 5 years.

it seems iphone is the best it last at least 4 years, without slow downs or lags. people havent got the money to change phones. samsung phones start giving problems after 6 months and most android phones its very frustrating and people are getting fed up. so sort it android other wise get ready to go down while apple moves up.

personally i want a smaller note 9 with a bigger battery and no bezels that's why s9 isn't selling its not as far ahead as Huawei, xiaomi etc its lagging behind

The FUD machine is running on auto. Browse back through every year after the first Galaxy Note and this story is there with the only main difference being the numbering for the models.
The Note will launch when the Note launches. The Note has never been Samsung's big flagship seller, for size reasons, it has however been the biggest FUD source for bloggers as the narrative works if you don't think on it as a reader.

Early launch could bring with it more glitches and teething problems than otherwise. Take your time optimizing and ironing things, September is fine, no one is desperate or in a rush to get it half-baked.

just decrease the prize and people will surely buy it.it is because u kept using same camera sensor with only upgradedable aperture and software other than that it's nothing.just learn from huawei how they make a comeback and reach number 2 in smartphone

My Note 4 has failed, and i HAVE TO look elsewhere as Samsung imposes unwanted curved screen with lots of glares, at the same time hilariously overpricing Note 8, S8/S8+.
WE NEED FLAT SCREEN WITH 3.5mm jack.

... moreGeneral consumers have much greater effect to samsung. Enthusiasts just constitute a tiny fraction of the general consumers.
If the purchases of the new models decreases enough, manufacturers could consider lengthen the product life time of their new model. I would welcome such move if Phone can move in such way. Tab, PAD had changed in that way. 18months or longer development time for a new model.
Stay up to date is the natural behavior of an enthusiast.

Not really. The simple truth here is the early availability of the SD845 and Exynos. The Note is always a few months away from the S. While the S, launched early since the parts are already available.
It can be argued though that they accelerated the release of SoCs for an early launch of flagship Android smartphones.

All manufacturers need to note the roll out of 5G

IMO the S9 may be a victim of being a 4G phone launched in a 5G imminent era.
A contract is typically 2 years so starting a contract now means it is 2020
The upgrade is tweaking features, the major upgrade is being 5G ready, e.g.the difference between the S10 and the S9 could be the S10 is a 5G ready version of the S9
Apple iPhone 2018 certainly will 5G ready, (or not) however shoppers may switch from Ios to Samsung if the Note9 is 5G or [if on Android switch to IOS the Note 9 is early and 4G IPhones are 4G
