Z3 play will cost almost 25k or more. Game over at their itself. Also xiaomi design is far better than Moto bezelful shitty bricks with minimal bezels. And if you keep saying that redmi is using cheap materials despite being a sturdy metal device. Then either you dont want to accept that xiaomi is really better or need research more. Also xiaomi already has multiple outlets across india so they do not need to open new ones as which was yhe case with moto. And people who need premium today are already opting for xiaomi only.

The Z3 play will come with 636.
Motorola is still not as cheap a company as Xiaomi that they will provide you Price to Specs with Copy Paste designs.
Even Redmi note 5 pro has a huge bezel it's not completely bezeless atleast Motorola have some originality In what they are doing their design and build materials are impressive.
You wish Motorola will die they are doing very well and posted Profits last year.
They have been opening atleast 100 Moto Hubs In every major city in India do they look like a Company that's going down.
People even today who need premium will still opt for Motorola as opposed to the cheap iphone copies.

That shitty bezelful design with logo at front. Their design is uninspiring and still if you look at G6 renders i will not change my opinion. Also they gone with sd400 series for G series. I mean really. Xiaomi is doing far better than Motorola in terms of sale and price to spec ratio. I see motorola will die in few years unless they dont go back to their original routes.

Why the hell moto decides to use SD 400 series SOC and that too on mid-range phones.I bet this is the end of moto these phones.
Xiaomi and Honor will again be most selling phone this year.

Mi 5 , 6 , Mi 5x / Mi A1 all are copies.
Even the new Mi Mix has the iphone X camera placement.
Mi7 is rumoured to come with a notch so again iphone X copy paste.
No wonder they are known as the Apple of China.
Also we are taking about Motorola and Xiaomi here not iphone .
So if Motorola can give a refreshed design every year at a reasonable price why can't Xiaomi do it.
You know why because copying is easier and cheaper.

Then its forgivable to come with 3 year old but tried and tested design language to play it safe. They are not asking you for premium bucks to do RnD for design of a budget segment device. They are keeping it for Mi and mix series. Which are setting benchmarks in terms of design. And also NO NOTCH!!

Sounds really premium.
I saw a video on YouTube were Redmi note 5 pro display shatterd with a fall from 1m height.
And that person was advising everyone to use a tempered glass.
That screams quality.

Bring G6, G6 plus or Z3 play. They can't hold a candle in front of Redmi note 5 pro. It has set a benchmark for phones even at $400 price still costing almost half of it. Nokia 7 plus will up the game for sure but still will cost 400 or more bucks.

Also R&D dosent mean that new features have to be released . If you check the patents websites you'll come to know about what brands are actually developing for the future.
R&D is for the future not for the present.
R&D is a department in a company where the company spends money for future innovations and research.
