Where is Nokia N8 like design now? Where's that camera of 808 preview? Where's the whackiness of the lipstick phones? Where's the assurance that my phone will last 5 years like n8 did? Irrespective of software or hardware, that's what Nokia stood for. My father hasn't used anything except Nokia in life. Now they're using same things, same 2 year cycle to excuse not supporting phones longer and prevent user from doing it themselves

    Zeiss is on Nokia smartphones from 2004, back in time on Nokia's with Symbian os, but Pureview make difference in image quality. HMD does not own Pureview, that tehnology is still in Microsoft background.

        In Miui's case it is dependent on iOS and other skins.

        So the firmware is more important than skins.

        Would you use Miui and Samsung experience if they were based on tyzen

        Nokia is atleast giving faster updates and 2 years of support with Android versions there is nothing better than that.

        Samsung and Xiaomi hardly update their phones.

        Most of their phones are still on Nougat and Marshmallow when P is about to release.

        And even the Budget Nokia phones like 3 and 5 are already getting updated to Oreo.

        Most people would rather prefer faster updates and lag free UI than some bloated and lagy skins.

          And I think it's a complete ripoff of iOS and Samsung experience.

          Secondly bootloader is locked for security purpose if you don't want a phone with locked bootloader just buy some other phone man seriously why do you keep whining.

          Majority of people don't know what's a bootloader seriously and most would prefer security as opposed to unlocking the bootloader.

          Just buy a Chinese clone that allows you to unlock the bootloader and be happy.

Like theme Store from miui 1.0 in Android Oreo theme support... Like split screen from Samsung... Like the UI elements from Sense.. oh wait isn't that stock Android?

                  Is there any good review of the camera of Nokia 7+? I'm interested too see some samples of the stills in daylight and in low light. Also the capabilities of the Nokia Cam software.

                      B you are a fan who is purposely blind siding things as per his will or a 13 year old in world of ROMs. ROMs isn't the main point you see the fact that I can run anything on my phone irrespective of age due to development community is. Even after the end of official support. I want AOSP, I can flash in my 3 year old phone, I want Miui beta, I can do it officially without even needing to root, in case of Xiaomi, beta has bi weekly update cycle and is almost always on latest security patch. And I don't think iOS for phone has split screen and scrolling screenshot or the extensive theme store and versitaliity of Android. Why not allow unlocking bootloader in first place?

                          A camera module consists of 3 units The sensor (which detects light) ,The lens (the component in which light comes through) and The image processor.

                          They may be different parts but they are all infused into one single module.

                          Earlier Nokia used PureView imaging sensors now they use ZEISS optics technology.

                          There are also many other sensors in the phone like

                          Accelerometer
                          Gyroscope
                          Digital Compass
                          Ambient Light Sensor
                          Proximity Sensor

                          Sensor is a generic word not a specific one it can be used in many instances.

                          Also Yes Xiaomi Should be Really appreciated for the job they have done on Miui . it's very hard to copy features from iOS , Samsung Experience and all other skins and paste it into one.

                          Props to them for talking the time and hardwork and making such an excellent skin.

                            Great! i like the price can have some cashback as well to make it 1000+ less. Thanks nokia will surely buy this phone waiting for April 20 to get a flagship experience with SD660

                              It's funny how everyone is complaining about the price. If you can't afford, just don't buy simple. I think the Nokia 7 Plus is better priced than the other Nokias..

                                Why Nokia why. You should have launched your phone free of cost. Even given some accessories with it. It would make you the largest selling smartphone brand in a single day. Hope you learnt your lesson and would not price your products again.

                                    Wow. Nokia 7 plus is actually a lot cheaper than I expected. I am now considering it as an upgrade for my 2 year old phone.
