If there is a cashback offer of 2000 for Nokia 7 plus.then I m gonna buy Nokia 7+.I love the build quality of Nokia phones. Thier phones are made by good quality materials unlike other Chinese phones ,besides Nokia 7 + has SD 660 which will give u a snappy experience.infact SD 660 will perform close to flagship chipset.only turn off of Nokia 7 + is absence of iOS believe me videos are very shaky while running and walking

Nokia prices are high. 2-3k high than expected. Expected price near 22000 for 7plus,but actual price is 26000. So will consider other brands

I will definitely buy a Xiaomi phone over a Nokia if they don't force me to buy their phone in a nanosecond in a week(through flash sale) otherwise they don't deserve my money.

Ha, seriously I don't care if Nokia 7+ is priced at 27k or Nokia 6 2018 at 17k because Iam rich!!!! I can already buy 3 Nokia 7+ and 9 Nokia 6 2018 .
50k for Nokia 8 sirocco?!!!! Iam seriously not going to buy that junk even though it has defeaning volume loud speaker at 140dB and curved screen. In their slogan, "Ordinary people deserve extrodinary phone" is more of blind Nokia followers buying that phone without realizing it has no headphone jack and curved screen copied from Samsung Galaxy S9.
I'll just go for these 2 mid-range phones because they are worth it and reliable than the just junk Chinese phones like Huawei, OPPO, OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi etc etc

Nokia 7 plus is indeed overpriced compared to similar markets. In china its priced around 23.5k, so at 26k yeah overpriced but not that much.
As for xiaomi, their build quality for flagships(mix,mi) is good, but defending the build quality of redmi series is just fanboyism. As for proof even nokia 2 is better than redmi series in bend tests which can be easily watched on youtube.

The only reason nokia mobiles is called as hmd and treated as different is due to if some sales are down which will not affect the stocks of nokia oj(as this thing already happened on 2014 with microsoft there stocks are affected a lot). So for contract there should be limit so they have given 10 years for them hence if they could achieve it early within 2-5 yrs they could in position to show that they have now aquired hmd global and will give nokia mobiles again. As there are old employees working there first read and then comment.

Whoever supports for HMD's pricing, please keep in mind that one can successs only by giving value for money product in Indian market. Having said that we're speaking on Mid range devices, obviously a person who look for Midrange phone will expect some sort of device that offer more value for the money what he pays. It will not be a right decision by manufacturers to price their product like premium one.
Nokia 6 2018 has just 3GB & 32GB but priced at 17k.. If anybody don't understand what is midrange segment & VFM, please check the Samsung's midrange segment sale and ask them how did they loose no.1 position to Xiaomi in Indain Market. So understand the Market and price accordingly. Moreover people who write command here against the pricing, did not ask the HMD to price the Nokia 6(2018) to be under 14K or the 7 plus to be under 20K, everyone says that the price should have been 2-3K less on what has now been priced.
i.e, just look at OP 5 & 5T sale which are highly successfull when compare to the same HMD's Nokia 8, it's just because the VFM offered by OP... When it comes to midrange or upper midrange device, the price will be the key element of success in India market.
PLS note : This comment is for Midrange or upper midrange devices, not appllicable for top end devices as the flagship device buyers don't mind about price.

For some strange reason, Pureview tehnology is, still owned by Microsoft.

You have not told me on comparing Nokia to anything and i have not compared Nokia with anything to. Your the one that complain about xiaomi copy apple and so on. At least Xiaomi dont ask 1200 euro price for there flagship phones.
HMD/Nokia isnt rival to Xiaomi as Xiaomi do low budget phones with better hardware then HMD/Nokia. HMD/Nokia do premium price for even there lowest budget devices and try to get more fans by making old nostalgic phones as new and ask ridiculous price for them too.
My point is that Nokia was good back in the day and now is not. Back in the day Nokia's didnt cost that much as they do now too and when they come out they had new hardware on date in them. Now they have 1-2 years old design with old hardware with premium price.
Even the time i bought my Lumia 830 there was nothing better on the market on that price range i was looking phones.
HMD/Nokia should first make reputation as a new company and not take old brand name and ask premium+ price for them. I dont believe on quality of these new Nokia's over Meizu or Xiaomi as these are in the market for long time and not like Nokia/HMD thats is for a year only.
If Nokia would be different and would not use Android i would go with it if the price and hardware is what i am looking for but as of now i dont see a point to waste 100 euro or more just cause it's Nokia when i will use the phone for 2 years anyways. If i dont get updates my phone wont be a brick cause of that. It will still work and can do on it everything you need for. And well you need antivirus on Android anyways cause it's the biggest OS market for viruses and scam
