Dutch court finds Galaxy Ace, S, and S II infringing an Apple patent

24 August, 2011
Ruling is preliminary and is based only on the way photos get touch scrolled in the Gallery in Android 2.x.

Samsung Netherlands responded that the will continue to sell the Galaxy models but replace the current Gallery app with a different version that does not violates Apples pattent EP 2.058.868.

I believe the ruling is a victory for Samsung as the court ruled that the Galaxy models do not look too much like an Iphone/Ipad which was the main argument of Apple.

since there's no hardware related issues, samsung can just update the firmware to eliminate the 2 infringed patents :)

Apple is real pathetic kill, doing this but Samsung will not back down.
They will keep selling the S2 here in Holland, and the patent about scrolling is not Samsung's but from Google.
Apple is just crap because Samsung sell's more phones.
People should ban Apple, also Apple copied the Ipad design from a move from the 60's.
        Apple stop trolling.......

sued because u switch on a phone by placing ur finger somewhere!!!!

one day they will sue you because you hold the phone with hands, and that s the invention of apple.

            IT'S RIDICULOUS!!
