Pls LG just slam a 12mp 1/2.3inch sensor in the V40 with the same quality glass for better imaging. Many phone camera lovers will love if you go even higher than that like a true 2 micron pixel sensor along with superb optics and decent resolution.

As a picture lover, I've come to realise that my money is better spent on an average phone and a APSC mirrorless camera that is somewhat still pocket-able. Example Canon M6 with 22mm f/2 pancake lens. I'll get far much better results and only change my phone when it's completely dead.

If LG doesn't upgrade the selfie cam this time, this device will be long forgotten just like the original V30. Sad to see a flagship with such a major disadvantage (5MP selfie cam)

This is my dream, I love v30 footprint so much.
This is the most compact 6" phone in the market without notch.
But, 5mp f/2.2 front camera kills it. The achilles heel of v30.
Here hoping they fix it with v35 and I gladly take it as my htc replacement
V30 audio is superb, on par with u11!

Very nice in the hand too. Hope front and rear cameras improve too. If they do, then this will tick a lot of boxes. Possibly a decent slow mo too.

Wow. It's true what his CEO said that they would continue to launch remodels of the previous generation. They don't seem to trust its potential to create new and attractive models. The G7 looks like another clone just like other recent Chinese models that are also clones of third parties. Ouch.
Will be the display of the V35 ThinQ the famous P-OLED type with several problems? Like the one in the Pixel 2 XL? Sadly they seem to continue with the tiny sensors.

Just how many LG V30 types of smartphones are there? The 2nd one which is the LG V30s ThinQ is boring enough because it packs the same specifications as the original except AI, and now this?
