                This is not only the negative news for ZTE, they've been discovered as the biggest lier in the security updates together with TCL, as other OEMs. And Mediatek based phones are the worst, missing a average of 9.7 patches. Telling you that your phones is updated when is a lie. HTC, LG, Motorola and Huawei aren't good updating too.

                  Lol. US wants to post embargos and tarriffs on China. US accuses China of spying when in fact USA is the biggest spies in the world with companies like Facebook, Google and Apple at the helm of violations of privacy plus the US agencies like NSA, CIA.

                      Royalties are expensive, that is why Samsung flagships use Qualcomm in USA.

                        It was their oversight after all but kudos for their honesty. It's mediatek and exynos for them now.

                                This will implies find new modems too, not only SoC, as Qualcomm and Intel ones are banned for them. Perhaps Huawei want sell them some of their Cat6 modems.

                                    Whats with america's attitude with private companies? Its treating qualcomm as its own govt owned subsidiary. They decide who can buy it. They decide who can buy from them. Its seems america wants to compete with china even in terms of exerting control over industries
