I'm using one that I payed 100 euro for a 32GB and it's flying!
I even used it for an older android phone to boot the system from it (yes, the system partition was on the sd card and the phone was working even better than the internal memory).
A regular person would never notice the difference with such an sd card. Maybe only a power user would.
Apple will never use sd cards because they want you to buy their most expensive versions and pay for their cloud services. That's why.
I'm an android user and if a phone lacks sd card slot and waterproofing I don't even care about the rest of the specs. It can have 100GB RAM and 15 cameras - I'm NOT interested!
That's why I'll never buy an iPhone , pixel, oneplus etc.

550 for an entry phone. Apple X cost 370 eur to make one and sells for 1500.
So if phone sells for 550. Its manufacturing price will be 4,5 times lower thats 122 dollars whhich is about 85 euro.

Dual SIM phones are the worst!
Do a benchmark between a single SIM and a dual SIM of the same model and you'll see what I mean.
Also, dual SIM = 2x SAR radiation levels + 2 x risk of tumors and cancer!
I'd stay away from them..

Good news for me.
I will move to iOS again if it happen. The reason I move to android this year because of dual sim card. I need because sometimes operator in my country has no stable signal. So easy for me to switch network without bring 2 phones.

P.S.
Memory cards offer very slow read/write speeds compared to internal storage, which would bottleneck the performance of iPhones, thus creating lag and a bunch of other inconveniences for users. That's why you will never see iPhones with SD cards. Even though they offer more storage on the cheap, they will make the phone perform worse than top notch - which is unacceptable for a premium device.

I am waiting for this, and I am prepared to pay for it.
Now that S9 is selling dualSim variant in EU, that is probably going to be my next phone if Mix 2S takes long time to come to amazon.es
But if Apple releases dual sim version, then that is my next phone. Of course, 1000€ price tag is not something I will pay, but luckily people in my country sell carrier bought devices for 20-30% less price that in stores.

40,000/- or more for a dual SIM entry level device???? What a joke. At that price a high end android device will come like One Plus 6. Or one can buy a entry level dual SiM device for as low as 5000/-.

I hope this information is wrong. If they going to have a dual-sim device, it shouldn't cost a premium over the standard devices. They should just make things simple and offer them all with dual sim. Also, I hope we get a very high-res screen option. Apple had the highest DPI when they introduced the iPhone 4, iPad 3rd gen and Retina Macbook Pro(compared to all the rivals available at that time). Would like to see them continue this with the new generation. Also, I hope they include fast charging adapters in the box. It is crazy that Iphone 8's and X's don't come with fast chargers in the box!
