while this has 4k hdr , 3d cam,stereo speakers,hi res,sd card, 960fps ,ip68

Sony is overpriced company which makes everything pricey.
They rock with playstation maybe a TV but LG is much better in TVs department but Sony phones are crap as they ever was.

You will not notice any white imbalance while watching a video but yeah it gets apparent when browsing or launching an app drawer or setting which has white background otherwise OLED is absolute beauty man.
I compared with HTC U11 and S8 while I love U11 but in display category S8 was unbeatable at that time now there is S9 so I cannot say about that.

I wouldn't wish a Sony Xperia phone on my worst enemy.
I was a fan since the Sony Ericssson days. But Xperia is crap these days. Overpriced, underspecced and terrible software (not referring to the Android skin), especially postprocessing for the photos taken by the camera.
Also, the Sony Xperia software keyboards don't support Korean language input. Chinese, Japanese, Hungarian, Russian, Arabic, Vietnamese, Thai etc are okay. Only Korean is omitted. That seems quite racist to me. No such problem found in all other phone brands.

OLED on Samsungs have persistent frequency shift in whites unless you look straight at them, white is never white and switches form cool and warm blue depending on the angle of viewing. iPhone X has some serious RGGB bleed on the edges, it's like Christmas over there. And all small OLEDs flicker really bad so it's noticeable by human eye if you have sensitive eyesight, in my opinion that perk alone is what makes OLED completely not relevant as IPS replacement.
Also OLEDs performs very poorly unless they hit some certain brightness level and majority of they require you to blast he brightness all the way up and that comes at expense of your eyesight.
OLED and IPS are complementary technologies.

Look, you can cry as much as you want but S9+ 2k display is way superior than XZ Premium IPS panel. and what I said about sunlight legibility S9 will beat Sony XZ Premium any day (period) in display department.

And still no one buys it because of horrible marketing and not smart Hardware/Software use in SONY phones. SONY Produces almost camera lenses for almost all smartphones but it has one of the most horrible cameras between all smartphones. Honestly Xperia cameras are as good as a mid range (100$-200$) phones and OMFG still 2010 Design or better to say 1990 dream design of future Mobile devices.
