If Xiaomi can't get it head together regarding flash sales, they would definitely lose a lot of potential customers in this price range, atleast in India.

A true Redmi Note 5 killer. Hopefully it'll soon launch in Indonesia too at Redmi Note 5's price range, as competitions here heats up with the Redmi Note 5 3GB RAM + 32 GB internal for just above EUR150 (IDR2499K), 4GB + 64 GB internal for EUR 185 (IDR2999K).

Everyone should rejoice thay we have competition for bang of the buck segment. With this Xiaomi and Asus will try to compete and the consumer will get even better phones!

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2018almost got it right. if they make the build quality better ... moreI cant complain about Asus quality as i have only one device from them and it's Nexus 7 2013 tablet that still works and i have dropped it and so on. Does not look so bad from the outside too. Even tough it's plastic it has lasted over 4 years for me and i got it with 140 euro used 2 months.

I want a compact phone but when i dont get one i will go with 5.7 or 6 inch phone. Meizu 15 seems compact but it all depends on it's dimensions and price and do it have B20.
As i have Type-C plug phone now i would like to have it on my new phone to but seems like that these that have it are mostly 6 inch phones that have 3.5mm jack too. Samsung A3 2017 have both type-c and 3.5mm jack but thats but that is not a big upgrade over my MTK 6750T. In some points it would be a downgrade. And even for compact size for A3 there is still to much bezel for my taste.

Renato Oliveira, 23 Apr 2018Asus only missed on 2 points - Micro USB and availability. ... moreNo man they will give snapdragon 845 for you.

Definitely well done to Asus then. Because it seems that at least on paper it (Zenfone Max Pro M1) has all the right bells & whistles for a truly great (upper) midranger phone! And so it will definitely give an absolute run for the money to the Redmi Note 5/Pro and all the others of the similar segment. Again, absolutely well done to Asus.
