Glass back is the nail in the coffin for me.
Maybe many people like "premium" shinny things but I don't want my new hundreds of dollars phone to break at the earliest accident.
And no, I don't want a case, defeating the whole design thing and making a 6 inch phone even bigger.
The aluminum build of earlier oneplus was great. No need to change.

Can't wait to see OnePlus's take on glass back and it would be great if it came in a ceramic back version too. OnePlus always be makes a good design and I'm sure the OnePlus 6 takes inspiration from iPhone X and S9.

Replacing sturdy metal in favor of delicate glass is not a good move. There's already a shortage of metal flagship phones & now the few brands left are also jumping ship.

If the OP6 comes with a glass back, I'll better go with iPhone 7plus/Nokia 7plus.. Will keep my OP3t until they decide to pay need to what we users want..
