Kind of useless feature. V30 design is still better than this.

Now this is the feature I've been waiting to be confirmed. The blaked-out notch. This will make G7's design on par with the newly launched S9, but with the top bezel displaying extra status bar. Will be waiting how's the blackened-out LCD will fare with OLED though. Is this LCD comparable to OLED, let alone AMOLED? :)

I don't mind of top bezel, but hate the notch! LG, this is a stupid design.

bleh, 26 Apr 2018getting sick of this dumb "anti-notch" stuff. like, open yo... moreYeah, lets imagine a top bezel where there are 2 thin display screens on either side of the central selfie cam/sensors, to show notifications and status icons. It would look almost exactly the same as today's hated notch (at least those that offer black-out option). But would it still get so much hate? But this whole hate goes to show people who write on these forums and most smartphone buyers practically live on 2 planets.

If it had pixel 2 cameras and a Huawei battery, the notch would be a non starter.

Nice phone, if only it was an oled screen so it will be more efficient whatever LG G series screen are always great.

The selfie camera was even better than my G6 back camera XD. Seriously for me the pixel 2 xl worth it's price...

I hate today's phones with curved screen edges and corners, notch, non-removable battery, ...

But a telephoto lens is more useful than a wide angle lens. The background blur is not the purpose of the telephoto lens. The purpose of the telephoto lens is optical zoom.
The panorama mode can replace the wide angle lens.

What i don't get is why are people so concerned about having a bezel-less phone. It just makes the phone more fragile, harder to put a screen protector and a more limited real estate for a phone case to fully protect your phone. I would rather have bezels if it equates to a better stereo speaker set up, a front camera that can have ois and a bigger sensor. and the right placement for the multiple sensors to make the overall experience of using the phone much better. Most media is @ a 16:9 anyways so u will end up with black bars on your screen real estate so really, there is no point for this other than useless aesthetics.
