What an amazing performance put up by Apple against a whole league of manufacturers, and with just one phone to boot. iPhone 5 will just continue this trend, and manufacturers will breathe a sigh of relief again, as finally Apple will show them which way to go.

Go look up Galaxy S2. You will see it is not slower than iPhone 4 and it can play 1080p Adobe Flash.

Of course they will continue to grow. Theres plenty of cheap high end android phones all over the place. New models start at $199 or $299 and 1-3 months later, they're free to $99 with contract. Anyone can buy them. And when you buy one off the shelf, a new model shows up. Also when you start to enjoy your UI, another update is anounced. Oh well, I love my phone i have now, my HD7.

Android is a lot better then ios simply because of customizability...you can easily tailor the is to your need without restrictions....apple likes to dictate what they want you do and use.on Android,you can download ANY video file and it will be able to play it without conversion.

You tell me how many people in the world will actually use a micrSD if they have 32 gb inbuilt memory in their phones??? And adobe flash??? I bet most even does not know wahats an adobe flash... Tell me you got apps in Android Marketplace as good as apps in AppStore??? Most of the apps in Marketplace are trash... Super Amoled Plus in S2??? Who cares when you got a much sharper Retina display... You want a large screen??? Go and buy an iPad...

i use my Nokia E5 more than other do with their Iphones here in Sweden.
I use for server based things, mms, chatting, skyping and other streaming applications.
i just wunder how it comes that almost over a third of the Iphone users just do facebooking and sms. And they are paying the doubla compared to me?

I really thinks that it is a hype and death is certain and life is not.
I am always meeting people with Iphones so I ask them if i can check out strwaming and logg in to my sever. That is why I know that 2/3 of the Iphone users don´t use their phones smart. Just a show of nut hey, now it isn´t impressing to own a Iphone anymore cause of the working girls have one.
The most common answer I get is, no It is so expansive to use dataplans. Hoho, hey again, they caN´T EVEN SPEAK WITH THEIR PHONES CAUSE OF THE BAD ANTENNA BUILT IN THE iPHONE. aND THE SOUND QUALITY IS UNBAREL YTHE BOTTOM.
tIME WILL CHANGE JUST AS IT DOEAS WITH FASHION.

That has been life or death feature for nokia users but after E7 and upcoming N9 doesn't have it, no-one really cares anymore :), before those every nokia fan remind that iPhone doesn't have card slot. Surprisingly they have been very quiet for a long time, wonder why.

AnonD-1825, 31 Aug 2011"iPhone 5 do when its released of course it will raise... moreWell i didnt say clearley what was in my mind i think the best question is will ios beat android is iphone 5 good enough to give a big jump for ios so it come too near to android thats the right question not nexus prime i mean let's think if samsung just make one high-end android phone each year or HTC or LG or others like Apple WILL iPhone keep being the first and if iPhone makes let's say ummm 4 diffrent phones not just one with ofcourse diffrent specs like SGS2 , Nexus s , galaxy ace and galaxy mini ofcourse i don't mean exact specs like that but what i mean is a graduated iPhones as if you make all the iphones from 2007 in 1 year will this keep iPhone huge market share ??? just think about it and for these researches i don't trust any of these researches that depend on little amount of people because numbers differs by time and place i mean for example do this research in US just a week or two after iPhone 5 realease and make the same research at the time that SGS2 was released in one of the asian markets the numbers will change for the first example it will be near to your research but ofcourse in the second example it will change so that people will say that they want to change from android to iPhone these researches can't say for sure what all people on earth do want so i depend on researches that depend on facts sales however i am not saying iPhone is bad but its not up to date i can give iphone b+ for its specs but for apple marketing i give A++ and as you said before normal user dont care about specs as they can be convinced by great marketing skills

Then and now I bought a galaxy s2 = even more astonished

It is very difficult to escape from apple. You paid a lot for an iphone and you have to wait after the next year version to hope to get some missing features.
And iphone users expect to get a more shiny piece of aluminium.
That's why every year apple will sell a lot of phone to the same always users who must follow.
There will be always a market share for iphone fashion victims.

Most people don't even have idea about what they buy. Such people mostly constitute women , most iPhone users around me are women/females while almost all men have android.
What these ladies want is simple , eye-popping phones and also for fashion but power users are different. Power users customise phones , compare specs , study features , see the price and buys it because power users consists of tech-geeks , business men and teenage-early20s-age-group.
So android comes into power-user while iPhone is is for games or symbol of royalty and fashion. and many companies that's why makes accessories for iPhone compared to any other phone in Market.
For real use I bet nothing can beat PCs or laptops or tablets.
Phones perhaps only texting or calling or GPS mostly.
I have seen people who buy high-end phones and only use it for showing it to others that they are rich.
I bought galaxy s2 instead of upgrading to better laptop since s2 has good screen and apps. Replaced s2 for nokia e71
