Kiyasuriin, 29 Apr 2018Hm... So far we are indeed capped at 8 GB of RAM. But we do... moreisn't some of them used as GPU shared memory?
also, average size is definitely wrong world wide. a lot of manufacture (ie nokia) still use 1 GB ram, Android go also will push other to build phones with cheap dirt 1GB modules, top seller on online seller (ie samsung Jx / redmi series) still use 2 or 3 GB most of time.

If Samsung brings a phone with 10GB, it will probably use 7,5 out of box.
Too many stuff running background that can be stopped.

It baffles me that we now have high capacity RAM, yet those tiny Apps manages to lag our phone unlike PC that still runs fine even with just 4-8GB of RAM with demanding software. Of course Chrome is the exception.

Hm... So far we are indeed capped at 8 GB of RAM. But we do need to increase the actual to Advertised RAM ratio. Android phones with 8 GB of ram has 7400-7700 MB of RAM. While it should be 8192 MB
