[deleted post]Uh huh... Truth is if you ask me now which is the best phone, I would say its the S2 simply because of its awesome features... My only gripe is with the Marketplace... There just arent any quality apps like Appstore... And if there are, they are comparatively much less..

AnonD-5197, 02 Sep 2011Yeah, to make it even better, how much more of GHz on a CPU... moreObviously the S2 will be more powerful than iPhone4.. Thats solely because iPhone4 was released last year whereas S2 is a product of this year... So there really isnt any comparison...

AnonD-20221, 02 Sep 2011Heavy apps work smoothly on the iPhone 4... You ask why upg... moreYeah, to make it even better, how much more of GHz on a CPU do you need? It doesn't matter as long as the result is great. What's important is how well the device provides the user satisfying experience, NOT how well the OS can provide the user with satisfying experience at certain CPU speed.

Android runs flawlessly on my SGSII with 1.2 GHz dual-core, iOS runs flawlessly on 800GHz iPhone4. So why do those numbers matter when I'm finding my phone just as convenient as you are finding yours? Both phones perform very well as they were designed to. I haven't had any "resource" shortage using mine so you have a very weak argument there. I'm not going to discuss how each line of codes of iOS compares to Anroid. And plus, it's not like the dual-cores are making Android devices more expensive than an iOS device.

Now, while iPhone 4 is designed to perform up to certain extent, SGSII is designed to be much more powerful than the iPhone 4 and it clearly shows in for example web browsing. I pretty much get on my phone what I would get from say a laptop(minus the large screen). Wouldn't you like that? I've been using it for the past 3 months and it's really great. I find my brother's iPhone 4 extremely frustrating for web browsing because it feels slow and "mobile-like" after experiencing SGSII. It reminds me of the Windows Mobile 6.5 days. Don't give up your hope, Apple is almost there... as the rumors claim.

Android performs very well in terms of running simple apps and heavy apps, and a lot of those heavy apps an iPhone can't run them at all or can't run them as well as an Android device currently. iOS just needs 600 MHz, then why upgrade to dual-core? Why upgrade at all?

Oh yeah... you're waiting for iphone 5...

It just does not match iOS in other terms... As for performance, all knows Androids are very resource hungry... U need a good Gh processor to run Android smoothly... Otherwise it becomes laggy... iOS needs just 600Mhz compared to Android... Imagine how iOS will run on a dual core processor... So who's the better performer here???

Yup Samsung is taking the right direction. At least Samsung made a wide variety of Galaxy Tab to let user choose from a smaller screen to a largest screen (7" up until 10.1") rather than force the user to buy one FIXED size and one FIXED price.

For budget user they can choose smaller size where for average user they may choose a bigger size of Galaxy Tab. User will buy according to their affordability and their needs.

This will made everyone to enjoy the Android OS.

They're pretty much at level considering both the advantages and disadvantages. I wouldn't say one is especially better than the other having been carrying iTouch for 2 years and using Android phones for 1 year.

This is where hardware comes in to tilt the scales.

The tab 7.7 should get an stylus too... i think that those note taking capabilities are pretty cool! they should include that on bigger tab! Its a great tool for designers!

I know Apple sells their product well, but it's not because they produce the best and everyone else's products are worse like you claim. The reason iPhone sells isn't because it's the best device in the market.

I myself am very excited for this device. All my pants have pockets deep enough for it, and all my shorts have cargo pockets. It's really the first device that, to me, makes a tablet computer obsolete.

I agree that it probably won't sell a ton unless Samsung comes up with a very clever marketing campaign. I also am leery about any device of this variety not having HDMI-out. If it requires Samsung's pricey MHL adapter, I'm afraid Sammy can count me out, as tempting as it would be.

A revolutionary device is the one that changes the pace of the technology, the market, and the user experience.
