03 May 2018
The leak reveals a design in line with what we've seen so far, including missing fingerprint sensor both from back and front.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 03 May 2018Looks good, but come on, side bezels can be further reduced... moreKind of expected it to have same side bezels as previous Z's, since 18:9 means only elongating the screen but not widening it. For it to be wider, the length has to be even more to fit the aspect ratio.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 03 May 2018Looks good, but come on, side bezels can be further reduced... moreIf the fingerprint scanner is on the side, then it will be very hard to make the side bezels thin.
Sony knows about this, which is why they moved it on the back instead.

I only see the old desing tweaked that is was Google left them after sell it to Lenovo. Google retained the Advanced Technologies & Projects unit (which was integrated into the main Android team), and all but 2000 of the company's patents. Then sold the skeleton to Lenovo so the lack of innovations now is evident. And now as a subsidiary of a chinese company the have started to split the availavility of their products depending of the region. For example the G6 Plus will not see the US market when customers there prefer that model above the more expensive ones at mid range. And offer lower SoC tier than others at equal price trying to push them as a more premium phone that in reality is.

The manufacturing is still Moto, but now belonging to Lenovo as a parent company. And they're among the best bang for the buck (not many left in this branch), but I guess it's pretty hard to notice if you judge a product by its paper cover.

The most sophisticated phone, engineer ever build.
Most my college in engineer dept use this brand because build quality and most innovation come from Motorola

                    motorola is just awesome

I have Moto Z with JPL / Battery Mod / HB camera with true 10x zoom

They are very practical, very lovely to use, very innovative, I hope Motorola just improve their battery life for the High end models and their cameras, other than this...They really know how to build a great phone, like Nokia & Samsung

Looks good, but come on, side bezels can be further reduced in my opinion

I wonder if the side mounted fingerprint sensor is easier to defeat, spec-wise it appears to be their version of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

Eh. I thought this company is dead because they are now under Lenovo. I don't like Lenovo in the first place.
