Anonymous, 08 May 2018Look at there earnings....Well, duh. Just look at how big the profit margins they place on their phones considering that the iPhone X costs less than $400 to manufacture. If they what Xiaomi did with only around 5% net profit margins and such, they would earn way, way less.

So many headless people, buying phone for 1000 which does not even does anything magical for that price, just crazy how marketing and brand recognition can brainwash people

Anonymous, 08 May 2018Please, explain why face id is useless...Well first it's more likely to fail (not in the sense of how accurate it is but more hardware failure side), probably causes a bit of a drain on battery by requiring cameras to be always on, it basically replaces other incredibly simple ways of accessing phones like fingerprint scanners and probably hikes the price too. All in all it creates a few drawbacks to give a minor benefit that no one really considered all that problematic in the first place.

Lol.
Shipments =/= Sales. A company can ship 100 million smartphones but doesn't mean they can sell all of them.
Of course, Apple is lying about the sales. Notice how they don't reveal their sales data anymore after the iPhone 6s because the drop in actual sales. Their highest selling smartphone was the iPhone 6 but everything now went downhill after.

Anonymous, 05 May 2018True. But we are never sure which company start the notch. ... moreLove how they bring up Essential when it comes to the notch. It was Apple that brought it to mainstream. I guess the 10 people who bought the essential just can’t believe it? Both notches have different purpose. Apples notch is being copied for what reason again? It’s not like any android have truedepth sensors?

Kinect like sensors on a phone that is less than 1cm thick is THE innovation. Apple single handedly slowed down adoption of under fingerprint scanning because of FaceID.
