The iPhone X is by all means still really fast and fluid device. Also has a good camera and good screen... that is not something you can say for all smartphones.

With S9+ around, I don't see the need of getting far more expensive iPhone X single SIM, non expandable memory, smaller screen, slightly inferior camera....

Anonymous, 05 May 2018Iphone X is best phone ever ??Hardly... but one can't deny its contribution in terms of innovation, Face ID with its front depth sensors, while simultaneously having the same slim bezel all-around the screen (which meant having a flexible panel, so they could bend the connector board behind the screen). Then, of-course, all the reworked interaction with the OS (gestures), so they wouldn't have to adopt a "navbar-alike" approach as in Android (nothing wrong with it, but it sure takes innovation to work around it).
I may not buy Apple (out of principle against "walled gardens") but I do recognize their contributions.

lol, 05 May 2018ffs...essential phone implemented Notch before Apple.True. But we are never sure which company start the notch.
But we can be sure of one thing here, Android makers copy iPhone X, NOT essential. Because they thought it will bring them to new hights..

Go back and look at other similar model sales reports from previous years, you will find the same result because that is how it is. Simple as that. Just compare the number of sold units and revenue reports for the different companies and you will find this to be completely fine. Apple is selling few models compaired to other companies, but the do sell alot of them.

Once you realize that you'll understand why they are so successful and better supported by major developers, this despite Android owning well above 80% of the market.

Every Youtuber & his dog bought an iPhone X ... But most of them said they will stick to the iPhone 8/+ or Pixel 2/XL.

I don't know why average users / apple fanboy exist in this comments... Are nowadays people are soo rich that most every of them could afford this $$$$ phone? Even i've never seen someone using iPhone X, even an iPhone 7, at least on my country. Most average teenage here are still using that sub 4" iphone.
