It works for N80 too, I have tried it.

I have tried the program for the E65 and installed it in N80. The program is slow but.

I've found a bug with the new version. In fact, there are lots of adresses not avaible because of the characters. I live in Spain, and Spanish and other languages from Spain, like Euskera or Catalan use characters like 'ñ', 'á', 'è', 'é', 'í', 'ú', 'ç' and many others that don't appear on the maps so you are unable to find an adress with these character. Instead of 'em 'Ã' or others appear. French also uses some characters like those, so how the earth can we find those adresses?
Earlier versions didn't have these problems.

Nokia has the absolutely worst GPS system on any phone. The idea that a customer has to pay for Navigation and Guides is an example of how cheap this company really is. I have an N95 and I just dumped a 6110. Both are basically worthless for voice navigation where I live in Thailand.

What I did was buy a Garmin Bluetooth Receiver which came with an ESRI map. The map has voice navigation and is updated every 6 months. Once you buy the receiver you never have to pay for anything again. The map has 300,000 points of interest so I can find any ATM, 7/11 or Pay Toilet in Thailand. The Garmin Map list addresses, telephone numbers and a lot of detail on all the POI's. The Garmin Map just sucks unless you live in a country where guides and voice navigation is available. Then you pay a lot for their service. Nokia is a grubby, cheap company.

I just switched the an HTC Touch. My N95 will soon be thrown on the junk pile.

I can already zoom in and out on the globe to specific spot's so what's the differance. now if you could get me a faster GPS lock all or most of the time without assistedGPS and paying the cell company for data, now that would be differant.

Why is this option unavailable for the N80? It's an n-series phone, too!

"..then the free option of "tracking" in the original is no longer avaliable. So if your not paying then stick with the old version as it lets you do more. The tracking was obviously taken away to force more people to pay for navigation."

                                Really? Can anyone confirm this?

The new maps program isnt worth getting.
Although the screen now turns to face which way your going, if you dont pay for navigation, then the free option of "tracking" in the original is no longer avaliable. So if your not paying then stick with the old version as it lets you do more. The tracking was obviously taken away to force more people to pay for navigation.
