Ok this is overreacting first of all android is practicaly a linux and both linux and apple's os have their base on UNIX so ofc there are similarities...while linux operating systems are open and offer many possibilities while apple's os is very strictly limited

Well congratulations, You possess a talent for reading abilities of individuals over the internet. Well, most android development comes from open-source devs. Hell, even the android framework is open source. There is nothing of iOS in android. Don't take my word, sift through the code if needed; assuming you are a "developer"(Hey, you claimed we don't know the cost of development/marketing). If there was something in the framework which belonged to apple they should be able to point out the sections of code from the git itself (Which they can't).
Apple can't point out what it has stolen and is crying that Bad Evil(:P) Google is stealing from it.

By poseponing the release of iPhone 5 they just advertise it. That's the way americans do. They create a rumour and then wait until even the last highlander finds about it. Then a rich father will buy to his kid iPhone 5. The kid will show off at school and his classmates will buy too and so on (that is only one example).
Apple does not hurry in releasing the phone because they are not poor and need dough immediately. In fact, it might be a strategy. As the rumour was released, they expect the other companies to release better and better products, so in the end they just come out with a better product than the current ones on market.
P.S: If I were the owner of Apple, you bet I'd use the same restrictions and I would protect my work. It's obvious, everyone would have done the same, but these days people can get everything. I mean, you only search on torrents and you find the right information with no need to pay anything without caring that the creator spend some money on making that thing.

s, 04 Sep 2011i agree but that mean that we should do something about tho... moreThe problem with you Android guys is that you cannot understand what effort it takes to make a software and the costs involved, because, most of you haven't done any development as yet.... and you have habit of getting things for free...
If a company has made a software or a design , and it has put serious effort of few persons in it with cost, then IT HAS THE RIGHT TO PROTECT IT.....
In this case, how may you cry out loud against Apple, but since they have made an effort on making it, they should have the right to sue everyone who steals from them....

I think that in this case Apple is right and should win.
HTC should pay up, but NOT in the MS vs. HTC price point where HTC pays Microsoft more money for Android than it pays MS for its own WP7 !!! MS really thinks they contributed more to Android than Google itself?! How did the deal even go through?! Is that even possible?!?!
HTC should pay MS 1 cent and Apple 1 cent of each device sold for patents. These contributions/patents are not worth a cent more! MS+Apple would still get a nice bag of cash off HTC. Case closed!

Apple just shutup and come out with your iphone 5 with usable bluetooth enabled phone, don't just give us bluetooth handsfree profile, we need file transfer etc.
