Firstly, don't even claim that Apple is the height of style and all things stylish have come from them. Apple "borrow" ideas too. For instance, that nice new notification area on iOS5, well my Android has had that for a while.
Secondly, are you seriously implying that anybody who builds a phone out of anything but plastic is copying Apple. If so, please build a statue of Jobs in your home and worship it twice a day!
Another question that comes to mind is why the HELL would MODERN DROIDS want to COPY APPLE. I am sorry to do this but:
Galaxy S II iPhone4
1.2Ghz Dual Core 1Ghz
4.3 Inch Screen 3.5 Inch
8MP, 1080p video 5MP, 720p video
The facts speak for themselves; why would Android running phones want to copy something that is blatantly inferior.
If you are so hung up about style go and buy a Giorgio Armani or phone. Needless to say Android, in my opinion, has just as much style as Apple, and the best part is that its the style you want as you can CUSTOMISE as opposed to having everything DICTATED by Apple.
Lastly, it is actually irrelevant who many Android manufacturers there are; the fact of the matter is THEY STILL HAVE MORE MARKET SHARE.

These two companies offer very good smartphones that rival their own. Do they give a rat's ass about MS and Nokia? Didn't think so.

Apple fans don't understand they're buying the brand, not entirely the product. The retina display they're bragging about is made by LG, and the chips are made by Samsung.
So I don't understand why the fans are so proud of an American brand made in China and chips are made by Koreans.

Given the astronomical deficits it runs at, probably most of the people commenting here have more cash reserves than the US; though I can assure you that would make these people no more or less qualified to make smartphones!

And what had Android copied from Apple can you specify it point wise. you guys doesnt go into details just come here and yell what ever comes to your mind.
As talking of suing this means sony would go evey company and sue that they copied CD Technology, Atari should also sue sony, nintendo, microsoft for copying game concept.
Clear your thoughts about copying.

I saw many fanboi of apple but not a one like you......In terms of apple copying search google earlier sony-erric has filed the patent for that famous i_phone shape & size than later aple came into scene...
Regarding too many manufacturers apple is not confident about its iOS that it will run on all hardware thats y its keeping it close and moreover doesn't give user the freedom of choosing apart from that only shape and style while Google has effectively counter on these issues by making Android open source and If you think Google is incapable promise me that you will never use any of Google services in your life :P.

Apple has sold MORE devices than any othe manufacturer ALONE...read ALONE...Android need thousands of Manufacturers and Apple not.
And about style...Well, those Android phones have everything but STYLE, just bare plastic...err WAIT, of course all are copycats of iPhones hehehehe they have style indeed...
Besides the only originals in DESIGNS around is NOKIA, they have the GUTZ for make a total different phones from any other manufacturers...since they has no copycats of any other phone :P

If Android uses only...Motorola..did you think will be the same impact? I don't think so.
The merit of Apple is iOS this only works on Apple devices, Android needs Samsung, Motorola, LG, Huawei, Dell, and more and more and more....
And of course no need marketing....err wait...They have ALL THOSE MANUFACTURERS FOR THEY ADVERTISING (Android here and ther on TV spots) hehehehe of course they not need it. Google indeed have for that their pawns of Motorola, LG, Samsung and so on...

Lmao. apple threatened by android. why wouldn't they be. it beats the hell out of crappy ios. android own the smartphone market now. time apple stands aside. who wants a crappy iphone these days anyway? can't even send or receive anything via Bluetooth. haha. I got an ancient Nokia from 2000 that can do that. and no delivery reports. all apple junk is just over priced over advertised garbage. Samsung galaxy s2 is the fastest most powerful phone on market to date. iphone4 sux. I've had one. sold it as it was awful. Google android doesn't need to do nasty advertising stunts to sell there android based smartphone. apple to cus if they never they would not sell any. every advert on Tele is iphone lol. its embarrassing for apple how much they need to advert these garbage.

I don't know who's the big looser here, since Samsung sold millions of parts to apple. Maybe in long term this will hurt Samsung profits.
