I want to see a succesor of the (very) good Zuk Z2 where Zuk was a subsidiary of Lenovo :(.
Lenovo is making good smartphones, my Lenovo P2 is still a good smartphone but I want a new one with a bigger screen (and borderless)

Well the Lenovo S5 would have everything for me if 3 things would be different.
1. Price for SD625 230 euro for 3/32 is too much. Redmi 5 plus 3/32 go for around 100 euro less.
2. A bit too large for 5.7 inch phone. Battery 3000 mAh and so big body dimensions.
3. No B20 network. But i have 2 out of 3 available B3 and B7 and i dont live in a concrete house but i work in one so even with B20 i would not have much connection in there anyways.
Now it this would come 90% bezel less with something 140mm tall with no shin but bezel ring around to edge for 1-2mm thick and something 3-4mm bezel on top to fit in the selfie camera.
With S5 they got it right that fhd+ screen and type-c with 3.5mm jack.

Eske Rahn, 08 May 2018Interesting. And the time mid June, seems to fit a "Moto Z3... moreIt's Lenovo, not Moto. Otherwise it'd be Moto VP, not Lenovo's. And yeah, I know moto phones are bought by Lenovo already but they still make Lenovo branded phones and only the ZUK lineup was discontinued.

Kangal, 08 May 2018Uh what? Just put the front-camera underneath an OLED disp... moreHeh... A display is more than just a glass, you can't see through it. Transparent OLED isn't a thing yet, and isn't going to be anytime soon.

Interesting. This pique my interest. Plus Lenovo also going stock android. Except for miui, all other chinese skin ui is bad to me. So going stock is good. Hopefully this phone will be promising. I'm keen to try all brands.

AnonD-59899, 08 May 2018You still need sensors. Don't discount the earpiece either,... moreOh, I know. I think the sensors and earpiece could probably fit in the slimmest of bezels, like on the Mi Mix phones. They probably went with placing the sensors in the bottom bezel because it was going to be larger anyway, to acommodate the camera.

Sooooooooooo in the end it's between vivo and lenovo to see who can make the most bezeless screen.............Wasn't expecting that.
Good for them. All you jerks who hate on Chinese (or other asian) phones can go live with your notches.

the COLDBLOODEDTRUTH is that any one can make a FULL notch less bezeless
the method was there the HOLE TIME
1-remove the selfe and snap mirror/secondary back screen (halo Sony Xperia Z5 premium)
2-flip front camera (hauwei honor 7i we are looking at you! ;)
3-pop up camera (I would say VIVO APEX but you aren't born YET)
4-no selfe any way
you don't need to worry about the speakers you can put them on the said or under (XIAOMI MIX) BUT you still have the proximity sensor problem tho maybe a small hole in the top of the display for it ;)
the method exist BUT none has the brains nor the bulls to do it D:{

AnonD-59899, 08 May 2018I'd prefer a notch over a bottom camera. That's why the Mix... moreUh what?
Just put the front-camera underneath an OLED display. When not in use, its covered up by the Application. When you need to use it (like "FaceTime"), the pixels covering and surrounding the front-camera can be turned off, ie fully-black, and the camera can do its thing.
The big issue is the earpiece and loudspeakers.
Hence, the Google Pixel 2XL offers the best solution: have symmetrical narrow bezels on both sides, put the webcam at the top, flank both thin-sides with a loudspeaker. If the Pixel 2XL used a flat 16:9 1080p screen it would've been perfect.

Fake. That a CGI image, not the real phone. The real phone will have thicker bezels. Company often use fake CGI image that enhance screen-to-body ratio to drive up hype.
