Well, at this point, even Intel has left Meego..., so, how many strong players are behind that OS?. Well, it seems too little, almost 0.

It could be great, it could heal every disease in the world, BUT, if you have no serious developers behind it, and somebody capitalizing it's development, the destination is the same as WebOS.

So, the phone is great, the UI is great, but buying it is very risky decision, in terms of having a very exciting phone with very little software. Perhaps with Qt the software offerings would be enough, but the general public will not understand that UNLESS Nokia spends big bucks on marketing this. There are no strong signs in the market pointing to major software players to make meego versions, or Nokia inviting them to do that. For instance, whatsapp has no meego versions, but they are looking for windows developers and just released a S40 version for C3-00 and X2-01. So if we follow the trend, the destination is obvious. In my case there is NO WAY to buy a smartphone without whatasapp support.

The UI concepts have to be ported to Symbian or Windows UI (on Charlotte, Deborah or any other girl on symbian, or in Mango, watermelon, peach or any other fruit you like ins Windows), but (sadly) the kernel of Meego has "destination death".

They should release an updated version of MeeGo, namely Mee Gone! What with Intel all but dropping it and Nokia not seeming to fussed about this device either!

The icons in the Nokia N9 look exactly like those of Symbian Anna on Nokia E6. With the news (or rumours) that Nokia is ditching MeeGo, ... Anyway, what's the differences between Symbian Anna and MeeGo? Just names? C'mon, Nokia!

Elop made bad decisions when he entered nokia.. He's not sent to nokia as a ceo but as a ms dealer..
Why he announced the n9 if they're not moving with meego.. Mad.. No one will try to do it.. It's similar to Firing the crackers and keeping it in their own pocket..
Though n9 had some positiveness it'll be failure..

As a nokia user I'll continue with symbian.. Great improvements..
Nokia's win phones must be a big failure.. Then only my nokia wil remain as NOKIA.. I don't want "DROIDS" in nokia..
