I can imagine this phone will have like those RGB like on their ROG laptops.
Vent holes everywhere for cooling and red accents all over.
Hope this one will have a dedicated jack, quad speaker and micro SD card slot...
If they want to 1up the Razer Phone.

It runs well enough on my nexus 7 2013 on a droid 6.0.1 Loading times are slow only but thats mostly cause i am to lazy to hack the files on this game to get graphics lower.
Need for speed no limits dont have PVP. PVP means player versus player. There is blackridge rivals or something where you play versus some other player time of game choosing as player versus ghost of other player. You cant even ram the ghost or prevent it to get past you cause it's a ghost

Anonymous, 11 May 2018For what? Temple Run and Jewels Star?Nah, heavy gaming like Asphalt and NFS No Limits + DW Unleashed and ML, where the widest angle of view would win most of the time. Oh, and in case of NFS No Limits, an ultra high graphic for better performance in PvP.

They should do it soon, as even microsoft may cook up something with their rumored andromeda device and play anywhere.
Its actually funy, gaming was popular even in featurephones

How can you play games on a 5.5 or 6 inch screen? Some gamers i know are complaining about their 24 inch screen being too small, and they are buying a bigger one, or putting two 24 incher side by side. And you can enjoy a game on 5.5?

I can only consider "gaming phone" only if I can use a proper real controllers instead of using the screen... Heck even the Moto Z2 Force is a real gaming phone because of the controller Moto mod.

We have the Xperia Play, but gaming smartphones weren't a thing when it was launched, so while it's not a failure, it really didn't stand out that much to force the competitors to also make their own.
But with the increasing demand of gaming smartphones, perhaps then they might bring the whole series back.
A gaming Android smartphone with PlayStation exclusives. That would be epic!

Another gaming smartphone? Come on, that's a gimmick crap phone that doesn't sell well even with it's 120 Hertz, nice "Dolby Atmos" sound stereo speaker and SD 845/835 with it's octa core. What's more, the laptop Acer predator 21 has freaking dual quad cores GTX 1080, core i7 8th GEN, 120 Hertz TN panel, 4 speakers with addition 2 subwoofer and a thermal cooling fan that what gaming smartphone don't have.
If they want to make a true gaming smartphone, they must need the fan cooling system for better optimis, huge battery and a GTX graphic card on a gaming phone.

Kiyasuriin, 11 May 2018My true phone for gaming? Asus fonePad ROG
SD845 5INCH FHD... moreIn my case if I imagine gaming phone, its should have unique design, VR/not oriented screen ratio(16:9 or 21:9 -if for vr its better wide), superior cooling - mainly battery efficient, better hw than ordinary 999 priced flagship, support for controllers(ps4/xbox contr., guns, keyboard&mouse, joystick, steering wheel,...), new input sensors - maybe even something like hands(and fingers) movement recognition for AR/VR play, support for gaming using stream from console/web based computer.
All of that should be possible, and if I could add for VR/AR, it would be removable screen, to get weight away out of the front to the back.

A gaming phone must run all AAA titles from PC.
This will take 3 to 5 years if developers want to fully port current non exclusive titles to smartphone.
Current so-called gaming smartphones must have something like:
1- 5000+ mAh Battery
2- 256+ GB Storage
3- 8GB LPDDR4X Ram
4- SD845 for this year and more powerful GPU inside SoCs for years ahead.
5- 6.5+" borderless display
6- QHD and above pixel density
such things that current models lack some of them. Gaming smartphone must be related to gaming, not all in one tasks; such smartphones must run all games, screen record, live stream and keep other related apps run in background flawlessly. Software glitches and bugs are developers side, but task killing, overheat, lags and battery drain is manufacturers side which must be solved in order to give a smartphone, gaming phone's title.
The difference between Xiaomi's regular and gaming phone for more than 90 of current available titles are as follow:
256/8GB Mi Mix 2S perform same as Black Shark without over heating issue.
256/8GB Mi Mix 2S has twice the high speed space compare to Black Shark to install and collect further data through updates which is what a gaming phone need.
Black Shark is superior in Battery capacity with almost 20% more which is not enough for gaming centric handset.
20MP Front Camera to do what with current titles?
If Asus want to do the same, flash sales are only way to feed those who want gaming smartphones.
Red magic's SoC is outdated for continuous gaming experience for at least 5 hours.
Razer must update its Razer Phone to be among relevant comparison. SD835 is lazy over QHD Display. 120Hz is excellent for less than 10% of current titles.
Those 6 things must gather together in order to call a machine, Gaming Machine.
