Anon, 08 Sep 2011Lol no, hat's just because of the huge hype of apple fanboy... moreHow do you know HTC does not paid there worker's underpricely... if this become one of the reason u hate apple, i think apple have success once again, becouse people remeber it. apple does not win at making remarkable smart phones, but they do win at giving confidence to there customer to buy it. you might not even have enough to get one, once again like it or not its just personal. steve job done a great service for apple, and for everyone eles... what have you done :P

AnonD-151, 08 Sep 2011It's Apple against The Rest of the World XD I am so glad t... morei will always remeber apple as a company that changed the way of cellphone to what it is right now. with out the idea the phones we using wont be the way it is right now... i dun see any other CEO doing the same thing like steve jobs, what they do is just "copy" or "enhance" repack and sold it to the world, witch is not a bad idea, as long as they make good products... stop being so chilish that blame apple or any other company for doing this or that... think about it what have you done for the world

Jihhnix, 08 Sep 2011Most of the people don't care about specs, they just wanna ... morethat is true some people don't want to be interested in technology but they want to get the best available out there, which is bullshit cause if u don't search and compare phones u don't know which is best. And to the smoothness part i agree but its because ios is not a lighter os compared to android, this however means that android has alot more going on in the background so it can do alot more for the advanced user. Finally realize that apple only makes 1 phone a year so they have alot of time to tweak the bugs that may appear where as other companies come up with a new phone every 3 months or so

I wouldn't call it Apple against the rest of the world even though they make cool devices. There are other manufacturers like RIM, Microsoft, Palm Inc. and they too make cool products. I'd rather you call it iOS against Android :)

Why don't Samsung and HTC make great products to make tons of money instead of suing just to make money? only the lawyers will get rich in these legal battles

Personally, I don't give a damn that x phone has quad-core CPU , and big load of ram, as long as it doesn't feel as smooth and fast as the iPhone. Dealing with malware and not-so-easy to use menus does not appeal to many people

its interesting.. apple is such a big company now, other companies will definitely sue... i think apple is a very good brand, but company, its a whole different issue, it may have followed some illegal methods too (its impossible for a big company to not be evil)

In other words, that's how they get so popular, because their products are viral, and people buy them because they hear it's COOL to have one, than having a real need of such a device (and those who do, probably know better than getting something running iOS). The other devices probably inspired their design from the iPhone for this very reason of "fashionable" and "in".
And nope, the original iPhone was not even a good "smart"-phone. You want good smartphones? Look at what htc had to offer at that time. Those were _good_ smartphones. I don't like Nokia, but some of their phones also stood out with specs a lot better than those of the iPhone, and arguably more usefulness because they better operating systems.
And iPhones are still bad, YOU CAN'T DO STUFF ON THEM EXCEPT WHAT LORD JOBS ALLOWS YOU TO.
Long story short Apple products are mostly locked garbage with limited usefulness, with hardware made by underpaid workers sold at overprice, hardware that could have had lots of potential ends up as part of a shiny expensive piece of bling and nothing more.
