LG G6 ThinQ pops up, brings no changes whatsoever

16 May 2018
The name of the phone appeared on the English version of LG Canada, Oreo update likely out of the box.

Old device by now, launched already with an Old Chip... Still behind rebranding it? Who else gonna buy it? LG...

As of now I still didn't understood why LG is Promoting ThinQ branding... Nothing has seen special in that...

Geric.770, 16 May 2018No thank you, LG! Releasing an old device with new naming ... moreNothing gets released. It's just a software re-branding.

      No thank you, LG!
Releasing an old device with new naming and no improvements on that device is really MEH!

Oreo is just around the corner so perfect timing. But that compulsive renaming is dumb

LG: How to improve declining sales of bad supported phones?
Ingeneer: Let's improve quality, make proper support, design and software!
                LG: you're fired!
PR manager: Let's rename old crap, adding so fashionable word AI and do nothing else! And set extra price for it
                LG: genius!

LG has totally gone mad. Release Oreo update OTA to all existing V30 & G6 users, rather than releasing unwanted same device release with new names.
